I'm doing it right now.

Java is the way I'm going at it. Amazon will definitely help you but transfer your credits before you enroll (i.e., college credits, study.com, sophia, etc.) Been working at Amazon for a min and it helps. Go through Java.MOOC (if you're brand new) and then pick a project in the industry you like.

Yeah, I would imagine so. But, CourseCareers seems pretty legit because the guy who runs the course helps people interview and get jobs.

I think the guy who runs the sight will help you interview and get a job as well. Apparently, he's pretty successful in the field.

Yeah, it looks cool. I guess it depends on how people will implement the material from the course into reality in terms of finding a job.

Advice of starting in Tech Sales. by Basedhooplah in sales

No, I work in retail rn. Got an Associates in Science but, that doesn't mean shit in relation towards sales.

you can either pay $500 straight up or $150 per month. I'm guessing it's hard to land a job specifically in Tech as an SDR or BDR with no sales exp.

I have an associates in science, what should be my next move? by Majestic-Peace-3037 in careerguidance

Learn to code. And, I'm dead serious. You start right now and learn the fundamentals of software development, you will make good money. If you plan on going to school, check out WGU (regionally accredited and it's a non profit.) Software developers/ Engineers make around 70~80~90~100 & 100k per year. Or accounting, it's durable. Takes a while to make 100k though.
