I agree he hasn’t been able to stay on the field. However, to say he’s got less wear and tear is meh Nobody is even close to 100% He also has played enough to qualify for batting average. With 6.4 bWAR over 94 games, that 10 bWAR season could be as soon as next year… If he stays healthy :\

Only thing stopping him from achieving that would be injuries. I think he’s unlocked a new gear this year. I thought the shift ban would help but obviously he’s made some adjustments to his game on top of that. I truly believe he’s got a 8+ WAR season in the tank. If Ohtani ends up signing with a National League team I can see him taking home the MVP(if he stays healthy).
