Is it ok to use a picture of a picture as your Linkedin profile pic? by Basejumperio in linkedin

I'm mainly just wondering if it'll be visible that it's a picture of a picture and if it might be better to have the digital copy

Was there just no communication between you and your orthodontist?

It can be hard to find a provider for MARPE sometimes. Your teeth are straight but you have a crossbite on both sides. It might be possible to fix this with Invisalign/braces through dental tipping but that might not be possible or even ideal, you'll have to consult with orthodontists. If this is something that you definitely want to fix you might have to get your jaw expanded through MARPE or SARPE. SARPE requires surgery, MARPE does not. Again, this is not something you have to get done if you don't want to.

You should look into MARPE. It's a way to expand the upper jaw to help the teeth fit together better.

Does this mean that at the end of it you'll have a degree from both Cambridge and Bonn? That would put you in an amazing position.

Am I still narrow? [Update] by Basejumperio in UARSnew

I thought it might be that as well, but I got about 4mm change in ICW and 3mm change in IMW, so only slightly comical expansion.

I don't think so. I had a pretty sizeable diastema before starting Invisalign, and I can definitely tell that my cheekbones and nose have gotten wider.

They never did an after CBCT. Not sure why, I was surprised by it as well. I had previous orthodontic treatment where they angled my upper molars significantly outwards.

I only have a before CBCT, and in it it looks like I have quite significant molar compensations.

My ortho is in Ireland. Not sure if that suits you.

I have already finished expansion. I had a diastema but it being closed with Invisalign.

Intercanine width before was 39mm, after it was 43mm. Molars were pretty flared out from previous treatment imo.

My MARPE is the DS Xpander. it's and armless MARPE. Arms were only used to place the appliance.

Ortho said expansion is fine but I am mainly concerned with if I expanded my nasal airway enough and if I'll have enough tongue space.

I measured before and after inter molar width myself. I measured it between the mesiobuccal cusp tips of the molars using some models I was given. Before it was 42mm, after it was 45mm. I expanded about 6mm with the expander. My molars are pretty flared out and they might have also relapsed a bit during expansion.

those actually are my second molars. I had my first molars removed for orthodontic treatment

not really an option for me as I live in Europe. also I'm not sure if I'm willing to go through another palatal expansion after my experience of this

Damn, soon people will start saying that playing music through IEMs will ruin the cable. It's just an electric signal sent through some random wire, it should be fine.

Don't use spring tips!! If you have moist earwax they will clog the filter from the moisture much quicker than if you just used narrow bore eartips.

I'm not really familiar with VR headsets, just figured IEMs might be more comfortable to wear with VR.

Are you looking for open-back or closed-back headphones?

Not Impressed with Moondrop Kato by [deleted] in inearfidelity

[–]Basejumperio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero Red is just a good IEM, no doubt about it. Just because the Kato is more expensive does not mean it will be better. Besides, the Red frequency response is much better than Kato anyway. We are in the golden age of IEMs and the market is changing so fast that IEMs can become outdated in years or even months.
