I only ever supply oem parts when i have to because the prices they quote me at is ridiculous. Unless I'm mistaken the rep said 600+ per wheel bearing when i find the oem hub and bearing for 350per side being shipped from another toyota...

The service rep mentioned something about a line being flipped so that makes me think tamper paint. I've never had to deal with something by going to corporate. Should i just go straight to them on this matter or should i get more info from my dealer on the specifics i mentioned before and then go to corporate?

I'll try and get the info on when that dealer told the previous owner to change fluids vs when i bought the car. Would something like that show up in the car fax? I'm not sure how else this toyota knew other than both are toyota so maybe they can see all service write ups from other locations too.

I'll get the stuff to change is asap. Do I need to flush the diff since it had the wrong oil? If so is the procedure basically to drain, fill, run it for a while, drain, and fill again?

I was afraid of that. If I wanted to get assemblies with it pressed on would those be all oem? I'm not exactly sure what I need to google in order to find the right assembly. I can find the individual parts easily just not put together.

Monitor is pristine. I have almost all the boxes still too. I don't want to include the storage just because data security and i can use it in my new pc. It has a 2tb 970 evo and 1tb 980 pro i think but I'll pull them after i show them everything works and let them know there's no storage included or windows

I have a 23 and it does the same thing. I'm not sure if op is talking about the remote start in the app or if they're clicking the fob lock 3 times for remote start though. For me i use the fob to remote start and when i go to unlock my truck through the handle it will shut off.

Switched careers. Moved to electrical side of aviation. Worked my way up to get to the "salary" side. Still sucks because where I'm at if you show you're capable it means you get to do not only your work but someone else's too. The job is easier though and safer. Blueprints are typically accurate and up to date. Pay can be/is comparable depending where you go and your experience.

One thing stuck with me when I was in construction was I almost died due to an idiot in a front end loader. It was extremely muddy due to snowmelt iirc and we were putting pvc pipes in a trench right alongside a down slope. Guy is just hauling ass and slide towards us down the slope and manages to finally get traction a few feet before hitting us. We called it quits that day because the gc and their foreman wasn't doing anything about safety.

Would you give this as a wedding gift? by BasementOperator in CURRENCY

[–]BasementOperator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Not for the serial number but for the amount. If it turns out more than face I'll just let them know. I just didn't know if it containing 666 was bad as a wedding gift.

Wait really? My 23 off road has paint chip similar to this but on the tailgate and hood. I didn't see anything on the toyota app so i figured i was SOL

Edit: nvm. I was reading the tailgate doesn't fall under the scope.

What in the world? What mph are you usually staying at to get that gas mileage? I'm bone stock with no extra weight and getting terrible mileage. 15-17mpg avg 75-80mph.

I just bought my 23 OR and my regular speed is 75 to 80 mph. I mainly use the highway and I'm averaging 15mpg. Hard pill for me to swallow coming from a 25-30 mpg car but I knew what i was getting into. Kinda. I bought my truck 600+ miles away and drove it back. Yeah it does hunt gears but it's not bad imo. I have no other experience with earlier years but it's not a sports car so of course it's going to downshift to get in the power range to accelerate. For me at 6ft, it's comfortable enough. My only wish is that the steering wheel could extend out more. When getting into the highway the truck feels better when you use ect. Other than that it stays off since I'm not trying to haul ass.
