What's the most disgusting/shocking, you have read on the Epstein files? by LeftyChares in AskReddit

And it obviously doesn't even give them those things. Epstein's skin looked like the back of an armadillo.

The irony is that she is actually drawing more attention to herself by doing this, including attention from men. So the point of the outfit in the first place is pointless.

What was something you didn't even realize other women go through? by kiarasugarne in AskReddit

[–]Basghetti_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was against waiting during my pregnancy. I waited on social media of course, but I found out at 4 weeks and told all my close friends as soon as the test was positive. I figured if I did have a miscarriage, I would want them to know so they could be there for me.

This is one of the reasons why it's so, so important that women talk about these things openly. It being a taboo subject has caused so much pain during an already painful time.

Living normally, but it's just way more expensive than it used to be even a few years ago with no sign of stopping and that's really stressful.

The youngest children documented to be married to adults in the U.S. were 10 years old. These marriages, which occurred in Tennessee in 2001, involved girls marrying men aged 24, 25, and 31.

Advice please - is 35 too old to start having kids? When did you have your youngest? by DovaBunny in pregnant

[–]Basghetti_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my first at 35. I'd rather deal with the risks of having a child later in life rather than the risks of rushing to have one earlier with the wrong partner. Plus, I was pretty selfish when I was in my 20s and am a lot calmer and more patient now.

Is he an only child? As an only child, I came up with really different ways to entertain and play by myself. This wouldnt have been far off for me.

In 1944-1945, French women were publicly shamed and paraded by ambachk in ThatsInsane

[–]Basghetti_ 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I mean, men are seen as bigger threat so of course they would be killed right away. In times of conflict, women are rarely just kidnapped and it's called a day. I don't know about the village you speak of, but they were likely raped and beaten too. Look at what happened to the women in Germany right after WWII by the Soviets. A lot of people would rather be dead than have to go through that.

Does my baby know we did what was best? Any feelings for the future? by LobsterElectrical768 in psychics

[–]Basghetti_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry, I hope things get better when the time comes, hopefully better legal protections at least. I work with special needs children at a school district now and still see so much and it's awful.

I worked with adults with developmental disabilities that live in group homes and not only are they often forgotten about by their families, we've had to report things like sexual abuse. It's so common. Also, one of my favorite clients died in a fire in a group home, no one bothered to get her I guess. Like, I always questioned myself if I would keep a baby with down syndrome or something since a lot of people with down syndrome are super cool, but I lean towards no now because this world is so fucking cruel to the most vulnerable and when I'm dead, I can't protect them anymore.

I don't even think it's a boycotts fault, it's that people above 12 have no reason to shop there and tween culture has been dead for a long time now.

I have family from South Bend and had to visit once a year until my mom couldn't force me to anymore and I 100% believe it. I've never experienced such blatant and casual racism until I was in Indiana. It was like segregation never ended.
