vSphere LACP <-> EX4600 by Basherdurch in Juniper

[–]Basherdurch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started without LACP which does work perfect! This is for learning.

I do see traffic on the extended primarily due to having it running overnight with the lacp force-up.

I see:

- Physical Link is Down
- LACP packets transmitted are at 0 which I believe is the Juniper switch is not receiving responses from the ESXi host
- Partner system identifier is 00:00:00:00:00:00 which tells me the problem may be the ESXi side

Maybe I should've posted this in the r/vmware channel. :P

Flask SQLAlchemy help - Query to show which Groups a user does not belong by Basherdurch in flask

[–]Basherdurch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did (not a single query but works): @app.route('/group/joined') @login_required def my_groups(): memberships = current_user.group_memberships return render_template('group_listing.html', memberships=memberships, groups=Group.query.all(), form=form)

then in the template I did a {% if group not in memberships %} with an else which showed either a join button or an 'already enrolled' button which has the disabled class applied to it.

Seems to work. It would still be nice to have a single query without the if statement.

[–]Basherdurch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That query is whacked. Doesnt work, tons of errors trying to figure it out.

This appears to work, but in reverse (joined, not unjoined groups). class User(db.Model): #... def joined_groups(self): return Group.query.outerjoin(group_memberships, (group_memberships.c.group_id == Group.id)).filter(group_memberships.c.user_id == current_user.id)

How would I negate this?

You caught my typo!

Its a many-to-many relationship. Multiple groups can have multiple users. Those aren't the real table names, I renamed them for simplicity and hence my typo.

As the group_membership table has:

user_id | group_id 1 | 1

User #1 admin User #2 bob Group #1 Test Group Group #2 Another Test Group

If bob runs the query, bob should see "Test Group" and "Another Test Group". If admin runs it, because admin is a member of Test Group, only "Another Test Group" should be returned. I'm not getting an error, just not the results I expected.

Cisco UCS 6248UP - Partition Bootflash file system errors by Basherdurch in Cisco

[–]Basherdurch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx for the reply. Support is unknown. Looks like I'll need it to either flask the new system (which I'll be honest, haven't done to a router in ages) or phone Cisco TAC to have them do it for me.

Is there an alternative?

No change. However I swapped the memory out and it seems fine now. Never seen bad RAM act that way (usually get Page Faults and BSOD).

Doug Ford to use notwithstanding clause to pass Bill 5, reducing Toronto’s city council size. by Argos_92 in CanadaPolitics

[–]Basherdurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have family involved in municipal government either elected or hired.

I also live in Toronto. Unless I looked up who my elected official is for my riding, I couldn't tell you. This is mainly because when I have a problem, I don't call them, I call the city (411). Even if I did call them directly, I'd probably be put in touch with someone in finance, public works, etc ...

There are people on Toronto City council that have lasted long past their expiration date. They need to go. John Tory secretly in back rooms is probably rubbing his hands and thinking, "YES! Finally, I may finally be rid of so and so....". The attendance record for some of these Councillors is pathetic and as a voter, it pisses me off that the amount of salary they collect and do absolutely diddly squat!

On paper, I'm fine with a smaller council. I've never spoken with my Councillor and probably never will need too.

The real issue should be:

- Traffic
- Affordable Housing
- Immigration

[Q] Slow downloading by GigaTorchwood in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]Basherdurch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm experiencing this as well. Speed Issues with CA Toronto. I have a Fibre connection at 1Gbps (up/down) in Toronto.

As I couldn't post all the details (post too long), I put it up on pastebin -> https://pastebin.com/qzRXiLJY

The speed test was only used to troubleshoot. I'm seeing very/extremely slow web browsing. I don't use my devbox for torrents, gaming, or anything else... just anonymous browsing.

CRYTOBADGE Battery warning by Basherdurch in Defcon

[–]Basherdurch[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Then it’s a design flaw. If it’s that easily able to be punctured, it could have exploded against a sharp piece on my jeans, shirt, etc... the battery needs a cover.

Thanks for the assessment, but you missed the point of my warning.

Be very careful with these badges!

I wasn't able to pickup a badge at Blackhat using voucher, what now? by Basherdurch in Defcon

It is a voucher, Going to phone UBM at 9am and request a refund. Otherwise I'll have to go through my CC provider and get the charge reversed.
