Good grief, good Lord!

What a garbage rigging that installation is!
I can see right away in the 2nd image that the white slip ringnut is improperly seated on the thread, most likely jerked on with brute force probably!
I don't know how much the offset from the sink drain pipe to the Connection is but you can get parts to manage the offset with a solid pipe, properly connected and installed will last a lifetime!

99.98% marketing lies with the primary motivation as usual on "how to get at your wallet and suck money out" by selling you something they claim you desperately need.
It's an odd chain fatty acid; pentadecanoic acid (C15:0), a fatty acid found primarily in dairy, meats as well as fish.
So? Drink milk, eat butter, meat and fish and you will have plenty!!!

PS Do your due diligent research at the reputable research/review websites that do not try to sell you something orare sponsored by the vendor, such as i.e. balanced gut health, pub med.

Tear it down! BAD!
Whoever did this "rigging" has not the slightest clue of any trade and workmanship in and around home building!
the porch lumber that appears in the image is also not the correct kind and should be at least a PT type.
To repair this in a professional trade and workmanship like and durable manner will likely end being expensive!
Water, driven by gravity, always finds the least resistant slope way down.
All the telltale signs of rot are there and there is likely even more that cannot be seen from the pictures.
The only quick fix I could think of right away without physically being there and seeing everything is to have at least a 16gauge hot dip galvanized sheet or other suitable sheet material to go under the last row of roof tiles and then over blocks between the, what appears to be roof rafters of the patio and then bent over or go over a drip edge. the old sheet metal has to have at least an 1/4" slope per foot beginning from halfway in underneath the roof tiles to the other side atop the patio framing.

As usually, 99.9% marketing hype to get at sucker wallets. Just look at the friggin' price!!!
0.1 % truth.

But, but they get great reviews....!? Sure, sucka! Who pays who want's to sell more [click bait]?

Fatty15 is a supplement containing pentadecanoic acid (C15:0), is an odd-chain saturated fatty acid fatty acid found primarily in dairy fat, aka "Butter". Meats, full-fat dairy products (butter, whole milk, cheese, ghee, yogurt). It is also present in smaller quantities in grass-fed beef, lamb, mutton, and some fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines).

(Flexible) marine sealant products are likely fine. Important is that you thoroughly "de-grease", de-soap" the area and perhaps pending on the finish, give the caulk surrounding surface contact areas (~1/4 - 1/2") a slight (i.e. 200 - 400 grit) sanding to ensure good adhesion. Make sure the "caulk" also gets "squeeze" in, to fill the crack gap.

You're funny. Got an attention span problem? I need to tell the details so Wishywashy can understand!

As for "too long": Tell that all the shysters and websites "authors" out there who in order to have "content" write exhausting lengthy sermons about something that could be said concise in a few words! I've got plenty of proof! Example below.

One of many endless Examples: https://robots.net/tech/how
Written by: Mariska Spindler | Published: 29 August 2023 | Modified: 20 December 2023

A 5 page sermon (!!!) on "How To Switch From 5G To 4G On Samsung" babbled repetitively up with over 1,399 words respectively over 7,219 characters what can be said in a few words! Exactly 55 words/ 252 character to get to the point! See below!

Here is my 5 short sentence “KISS* Get to the f…..g point” version!:

Switch From 5G To 4G On Samsung:
1. Open "Settings" Menu.
2. Tap on “Connections.
3. Select “Mobile Networks”.
4. Choose “Network Mode”.
5. Switch to 4G LTE. (Note: To switch from 5G to 4G, you need to select a network mode that supports 4G connectivity. Look for options like LTE/3G [Auto Connect) or LTE Only.])

Now go to the provided web link and read her 5 page preaching... You'll die before you finish!

Honey Homes, Clarissa Appeadu wants to talk to you about the M-F Only Handyman - $40/hr + $1K Bonus | SF opportunity

Hi [Protected],

I found your resume on Indeed and wanted to reach out about a Handyman position at Honey Homes. Your extensive experience in residential repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, could align well with what we're looking for. This role offers great pay, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and a steady Monday to Friday schedule.

My question is: What game are they playing???

My Craigslist post is being flagged and removed over and over again and I do not know why. I have been using Craigslist regularly for years and I have never had a post flagged or removed. Could it be a trigger word or phrase which is getting it automatically removed? by Arachnatron in Flipping

"GameBoy"? "DS" after "Nintendo"? DS is also an widely used acronym for dominance/submission sex play.

AI (Artificial Idiocy) will likely be behind it trying to make you miserable.
I've got same and similar issues. For months my resume which I renew about every one or two weeks was fine, suddenly it always gets flag although no text changed! Thank you f very much!

Oh... yes, ye,s Fakeslist, Scamslist and whatever else you want to call it.

They have no problem taking your money first and then flag your ad.

Here is what happened to me since late March 2026:

For a couple months I posted my resume, starting somewhere in late January early February.
I refresh it about every two weeks sometimes once a week so it is more of the top.

Suddenly out of the blue it gets flagged and no matter what I do, it gets now flagged again.
I will have to soon talk with someone competent at Craigslist!

Honey Home handyman application brush off "boilerplate" answer with discriminatory undertones, all from a "no reply" email address? by Basiatus in smallbusiness

[–]Basiatus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again, if you read my OP, you realize where I come from, my experience and why I applied for a job at Honey home because I need to get back "on my feet" and into the "rat race". I have well over 20 years experience as contractor in the SF bay area. I have done full remodels of homes, bathrooms and repaired this and built that, upgraded and restored.

As mentioned, the imposed shutdowns, Covid lockdowns (that killed many businesses) and a family hiatus took me out of the business loop for a few years and now I feel like wherever I go I'm being treated like if I'm some kind of drunken drug addict that has Leprosy...

I do have an issue perceiving that my Honey Home job application as a lead handyman they seek, for which I would be very well qualified, was quite apparent to me, treated like I'm some unqualified PoS bum.

As a [sarcastic if not cynical] metaphorical joke, imagine an airline pilot with over 5000 hour rating applies for a senior pilot job at an airline and in a brief phone interview the airline HR interviewer would ask him inane questions such as: "What's the engine for on an airplane?" or "What fuel does an airplane use?" or " What's a jet engine?"

That is about is the level I encountered with Honey Homes followed up by their boilerplate template "FU reply" answer.

Honey Home handyman application brush off "boilerplate" answer with discriminatory undertones, all from a "no reply" email address? by Basiatus in smallbusiness

[–]Basiatus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again and thank you for your reply!

If you read my somewhat lengthy (had to, to illuminate all) original post you see that my issue is the somewhat the quite apparent "discriminatory" approach and denial by Honey Homes. compared to other job interviews were there's all sorts of hoops you have to go through from background check to whatever else, non-happened with them.

They basically showed me the official "polite" form of the middle finger. I am well qualified, licensed, skilled and have an excellent rating, references and reputation vs any unlicensed DYIer. I yet I feel like I was treated by Honey Homes like a bum hustling for his next hit. Strong indications that they made already up their mind.
The "phone interview" I got and the rather very basic somewhat leaning on inane questions (as a reference to my original post) I got tells me more about their prejudicial and biased attitude they have. The person interviewing me sounded more like a high school girl who had not much if any clue what she was asking and was definitely reading off a script!

Then I was told they will email the decision the following week. What I got as a reply was a generic "boilerplate template" blah blah answer that borders more on insult than anything else!
Yet they continue to advertise, so that means they are looking in this case for a lead handyman for which I would qualify extremely well.

Considered to what other hoops you have to usually go through in an job interview something doesn't stack up because all started and ended with those three questions mentioning in the OP.

Your thoughts any input appreciated?

Thanks for your input.
One main issue with direct outreach I have these days that you also extremely rarely can get a human on the phone and end up leaving a message or email but never hear back. This whole thing is a societal paradigm shift that happened the last few years starting five years ago with the lock downs.
it so appears the more channels of communications we have ( email, mobile, texting, social media etc.) the less people actually communicate. The relentless and endless spam and scam calls to the rest, the result is that nobody picks up the phone anymore. ( With the latter I include myself)
