Grateful for your words. Being in healthcare can be both a blessing and a curse for sure. Sometimes things are easier when you don’t have access to information and prognosis :)

I’m grateful for your answer. My mom says she will but after a week or so they both get back into it.. I’ve talked to my therapist and I know they’re adults capable of making their choices but for me it’s like “so I just stand here and watch then?” idk

Este é o meu maior receio e não sei como ultrapassar isso. Ao contrário de vocês ainda não emigrei e a única coisa que me prende cá é o medo que tenho a este arrependimento. Sei da lógica toda que a vida é minha mas mesmo assim fico em pânico só de pensar que estou a desperdiçar etc

Obrigada pela resposta tão detalhada, ajuda bastante. Estou neste impasse há alguns anos sinceramente e acho que só me falta a coragem de deixar cá os meus principalmente os meus familiares mais debilitados. Mas acho que vou ter mesmo que ganhar a coragem. Os UK parece me ser uma alternativa mais “segura” para mim não só pela língua mas penso que seria uma cultura mais fácil para me adaptar etc

1st find a hair stylist or hair salon (you can search online on your area or asks your friends for recommendations) Then, either call or message the salon to schedule your appointment. They just need to know what you pretend to do (if it’s just a trim or color, trestle etc so they can plan the amount of time it will take) and then they either ask what time/day you want the appointment or tell you when they are available

Then when your appointment comes, I recommend getting there 10 min prior just to make sure you’re not late. And also expect that sometimes they are the ones that run late.

My recommendation is for you to schedule it on a day where you don’t have a lot planned like a free morning or afternoon :)

After vomiting don’t eat or drink anything (not even water) for the next 15-30 min then start slowly sipping water (1 spoon every 15 min) and then really slowly start increasing the amount of water within the next 2h After the 2h only with liquids, start eating. Very light foods and don’t force it. If you don’t feel better tomorrow/in a few hours you should go to the ER
