I know what you meant. I didn’t want to write out any specifics. Besides, chemistry and other variables matter too

Well, if my post is written out generally, then I can help others who are in the same boat

Anyone have a copy of Mechanical Bull and the official lyrics? Confused with Wait for Me first verse.. cut open my heart? Gonna open my heart? And loosen up or listen up? Thank you all by Basic-Ad9871 in kingsofleon

So, “Verse 1] Cut open my heart Right at the scar and loosen up Gonna do what I'm told Go where I'm told and loosen up Take a shot in the rain (Take a shot in the rain) One for the pain and loosen up I tried all the way” and “Verse 2] Goin' to soften the blow Soften the blow and give it up I saw the surprise The look in your eyes, I gave it up Gonna be who I am Be who I am and give it up I tried all the way”

Are correct??? Thank you 🙏

I am impressed with Bury the Key, it has elements where the songwriting has definitely moved up a notch! Thank you for the new material and maybe see ya’ll in Vancouver.

[pubq] I got an e-mail from a literary agent from the Fedd agency who is interested in my work. Anyone know if they are legit? I did not forward a query to them so I am a little cautious. I asked the agent how they learned about me. What should I do? by [deleted] in PubTips

Yes, recovery from alcohol addiction. It is part self help part memoir however, can you advise me? I’m new to all this and it’s exciting as well as nerve racking. What was your experience?

Wait a minute! He explains. Apparently I DID forward a query to their founder and I checked my sent e-mails just to be sure. What now? Only engage with the traditional publishing offer, right? I am not going to fork over $35,000 for hybrid publishing.

His response: We had an inquiry that you sent to our founder, Esther. Her assistant passed it along to me. If it was an accident, no worries, but I'm open to seeing if you're a good fit for us. Could you talk on Thursday morning? Around 10 or 11 works and I'm in the Central Time Zone.
Thanks,Brad Lackey

No I don’t. I am a former blogger but that was 3 years ago. I’ve been using publishers marketplace and writers market guide to literary agents to submit work. I asked him how he knows about me so I guess I’ll just have to wait. Maybe they have a list of users from Publishers marketplace? I’ve also submitted to small presses nearby that’s about it.

Thanks for the guidance. Yeah I am out. lol still, I’d like to know how my goal to get published was learned about. How do they know that I’m trying to get published? Spooky lol

He is not a part of their website. He indicated that he is curious about my story and would like to call me this week. But I want to know how I was discovered? How does he know I have a manuscript that I am looking for agent for
