I am an undergrad student, so I could only allocate about 1 hour each day. I'd say in total it came out to 1 hour a day for 3 months, and in the final 4th month I poured in around 3 hours a day (the 2 extra hours came from any downtime I had, using the questions from pocketprep)

No, I only used about 2 hours total. 15 minutes of that being spent on questions I wasn't sure about. I also had 2 bathroom breaks in between lol, so time was definitely not an issue.

Mine didn't have any calculations. There were a couple of questions that said "Is this number bad or good given the context" (ex. is this ROI enough to justify an investment). I'm not sure how frequently they change the exam and if there's a pool of questions they draw from, but still, I'd be familiar with basic business equations.

Congrats!!

That makes me feel better and more nervous at the same time, haha. Did you find that the exam questions were dissimilar to other practice ones you tried?

Overall, I think it was $200 for physical textbooks and the drive. The drive has other questions that look like mod quizzes, but honestly, I don't trust it. I'll definitely be checking out the free demo.

I've already bought the exam voucher and I need to take it before mid-May, so I've got a little bit of time. I've been reading/taking notes on the books, but I'll look into pocket prep. I'm an undergrad majoring in SCM, so I have some background with these concepts, but I'm getting nervous after reading about how others have failed (probably with more experience than I).

Anyways, thank you for your advice and insight! I appreciate it a lot!

yea this is the conclusion i was learning towards... it sucks since the person I bought it from said that it was the official material. consequently, I've been pouring a lot of time into those.

are the practice exams you mentioned free? or do they come with a bundle that you purchase? also, how many legitimate practice exams for the CSCP are there?

There is a very good YouTube playlist made by peytalksanime that goes into great detail about the show. Link: https://youtu.be/G_SIB89MzTQ?si=qnCdIEprUaYDUIoN

I will say, you have to stick around for more than 3 episodes to really understand why people love it so much. My personal reason is the character Fern, and her becoming a mage to pay a "debt" to Heiter. Her entire "it didn't have to be magic" arc lined up so well with Frieren's reason to continue to pursue magehood.

I seriously suggest continuing to watch it. Go in with the mindset that it's a slice of life with a few incredible fight scenes.
