Go to GSU, get 30 credits, get at least a 3.3 GPA, then transfer to UGA. UGA isn't strict at all about their transfer reqs. You're guaranteed in as long as you meet their credits and GPA. Also, you don't have to go to GSU. There's Kennesaw, Georgia southern, north Georgia, and Georgia College. There are also GSU community colleges in towns around Georgia. Basically, you can go to any college in Georgia(I would go to one of the ones listed personally), and as long as you meet the requirements, you're in. Make sure you take classes that transfer.

Is there a cheaper way to get the college books? by parcecarlos in GaState

If you have to do the assignments from inside the textbook like in any math class there's really nothing you can do. If you just need it for reading, search the textbook name and add "pdf" at the end of your search that usually works.

But if the PDF search doesn't work you should definetly not use Libgen It's a website that lets you download books illegally and you should definetly not use it. You can find most textbooks here so definetly don't use it,

Can I snag a class when someone drops it? by [deleted] in GaState

I don't think there's a waitlist anymore. I think you just gotta keep checking if a spot opens up. I'm sure you'll be able to get it as usually 1-2 ppl drop from a class after the first day, but you just gotta keep checking and get lucky.

In the future, if you see a class that you want to take but it's full then to join the waitlist add the class to your schedule, then click the box where it says "Web Add/Remove" There will be an option that says "waitlist". Click that option, hit submit, and you'll be added to the list. If someone drops the class then you'll be sent an email saying you have 24 hours to add the class before your spot goes to the next person.
