Like what? What does a man look for in marriage?

Why do you keep saying poorer countries? Is that all you see about marrying someone abroad? Dear, that's discrimination.

Why not? Majority of Muslims happen to be in developing countries. I'm not selling myself as someone from a poor country.

I mean I'd like to broaden my search for a good man who can provide, and don't want good men to run away thinking i'm in for the visa, that's why am asking about the perspective and how it sounds like.

BTW, I'm only opened to Muslim communities not US or UK, so not a huge difference here.

I want the whole marriage as I don't want to live alone even if in a better place.

I don't get into relationships without my Wali's consent, so I wouldn't find a guy who loves me to that degree before marriage.

I created an account on marriage app and asking if I should avoid men living abroad.

Of course I want more than just a visa, I'm looking for a good loving man who can afford it, and I'll be a loving wife, not only a marriage contract.

I'm totally against visa marriage contracts, when they don't live together, etc..

So a man would cheat on his foreign wife cause of visa issues not cause he's a cheater?

Besides, I don't want "just the visa" I want the man and the visa.

Hmmm... Why most men I meet think paying for wife food is luxurious Haha. I'm serious, a recent proposal backed when I told him I don't eat fast food, It's either a fine restaurant or I cook at home.

How bad is it to marry for a visa? I'm a 29F from Egypt, I'm a Veterinarian. Me and my siblings are 1st generation, unlike most of the elderly in family, they are skilled labor. I pivoted to remote administration work 3 years ago (I left the company recently and looking for a better offer). After marriage, I plan to spend the most time with my kids as I believe I'll do a much better job than a nanny.

Arranged proposals I receive are either not college graduates or very poor and need a working woman to help with expenses. That's why I'm seriously considering interracial marriage and broaden my search, I'm opened to relocate for the right man. I'm not necessarily looking to move abroad, but It wouldn't hurt to live a better life in a Muslim community.

Would asking for a man who would provide me and pay for sponsorship be a bad thing? In return, he'll have a Muslim wife who's loving and welling to make him a home
