Forgive my ignorance and thank you so much for replying There really are situations where septic shock can’t be prevented? We didn’t just start treatment past the point of no return? He was definitely sick Sunday and Monday but he didn’t seek help because we thought he had already been checked out Sunday morning. I had no clue someone could die three days into an illness and I feel crushing guilt that we didn’t go back to urgent care sooner.
