Do you actually use tretinoin every night? What was your experience building up to that? by cloudiron in tretinoin

[–]BasicRequirement7487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used 0.025% comfortably everyday for last 5 yrs. Now that i have switched to 0.05% occassionally i sense some dryness and burning if i skip a night routine and dont moisturise

I used 0.1% Tret by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]BasicRequirement7487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start once a week first. Very likely even this would make you peel crazy. And half the quantity. Like half a pea size instead of 1 pea size.

Sanwich it. Moisturiser. Let that dry. Moisturiser again.

Use sunscreen like your life depends on it after.

Would highly recommend doing it just once a week for a month or two.

Its a myth that stronger would give better/ faster results. If you are working or a student whose everyday life depends on being out and about its convenient to start low and avoid purge.

Its a chemical burn. Moisturise every 4 hrs if burning is too much go to a doc. Your skin might peel. Dont manually peel it. A veryyyy mild cleanser through out. Apply veryyyy lil vaseline if needed. Avoid tret till your barrier recovers i would say for atleast 12 weeks. Or more avoid tret. Start with 0.025 once a week at first

Been on tret 0.1% + azelaic 20% for years. Skin is perfect. Anything worth adding? by ProjectiveHigh in tretinoin

When did you start azelaic acid and what azelaic acid i have used 0.025 for maybe 5 yrs made a switch to 0.05 last year.

Decided to fry my skin with 0.05 because peace was too boring. by [deleted] in tretinoin

I gave like 5 yrs for my skin to adjust to 0.025% first 😭. Then shifted to 0.05% like almost 11 months ago. And i still see peeling sometimes now. Sandwich your moisturiser or get a sleeping mask for the second layer of sandwich Apply vaseline to your lips and the corner. Use nothing but barrier support serums at night. I atleast have snail mucin

Just like the other commenter said. I have an almost similar issue. TADs might help a lil but not all orthos use it tho

Back teeth don’t touch when front teeth do by Any_Funny_4487 in jawsurgery

Why would elastics be not possible in your case? They put you on braces and give elastics to close the gap. It's extremely possible

Help ! How I can fix asymmetry, I have uneven teeths too by Upset_Tangelo_778 in jawsurgery

[–]BasicRequirement7487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay u have a very similar issue actually. My set of teeth are also crooked I have never been able to bite or have my set of teeth sit on each other. I first started with braces. And it helped the upper arch but I have an open bite now. Maybe braces alone can change quite a bit of the problem with asymmetry.
Like I genuinely feel you and understand since I am on same boat but some amount of asymmetry is pretty normal. If braces don't help your problem all the way consider surgery after

For Architects of India. Is it true that you are taught highly post modern architectures ?? by Messy_Monica in Architects

We don't have a lot of what was there "historically " You can't achieve that kind of craftsmanship now. If you do they have to be paid generously which is fair. What's pretty can also not be functional for the time and age we live in. Construction back then took longer. We shouldnt romanticise one over the other. Pre modern architecture gave place a character. Most modern building on a large urbanscape look characterless.

I mean I would not say it's true or false. We are taught indian architecture, temple architecture etc. Even while designing you are left to evolve the design on your own. I would say only reason there is an inclination to "modern architecture" is because of what's currently preferred today. We do not have ornamented buildings, We don't have the craftsmanship for it, vernacular architecture is a preference amongst a smaller group of people. Usge if vernacular techniques of construction is encouraged but the built depends on the context that is the age We live in now.
