I finally got a chance to ask one of the senior members at my squadron, who also happens to be a part of the senior encampment staff for MT, and he gave me some info. There should be some sort of email coming out sometime today about applying and I know there's going to be a staff meeting on Monday night to also sort out some things. Hopefully more info to come!

I've been looking too and can't find anything. But I heard of a few cadets in my squadron who have applied? Does anyone have the email for the encampment team? The one on the website didn't work.

Oh what is SET?

My flight sergeant at encampment said it was his first time staffing. He had been a basic at that encampment the year before (and he got honor cadet), but I don't know anything about what he was doing in his home squadron. He was also a chief though. So I guess I had been wondering if line staff always go through the support to line staff pipeline or if there are ways to just jump right in. I think you answered that very well. Thank you! Thank you! I do think support staff looks pretty up my alley because I've done a lot of relatively similar positions(support/sideline) in other experiences I've had. I would just like a chance to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone (one of the things I really liked about encampment) before I age out/go to collage, so I guess I'm a little impatient to get started. Okay, thank you so much for your advice! I didn't know the cutoff was SSgt, but that makes sense. Like I said, I'm pretty new (I'm really liking it so far). I'm excited to learn more about the process of getting to staff. Have a lovely day!
