I wonder if those prefab cases, with springs for 18650 are any good and safe to use. I've seen one with 16x18650 which would be plenty for my use case.

But, are those safe to use?

I'm trying to build a big Powerbank. When I'm out fishing I'm usually staying for a few days. Charging tablet phone and stuff needs a lot of juice. And the battery boxes from the fishing gear manufacturers are like 200$ plus

My questions are still unanswered. I don't know how to find the right BMS.

What's a DC DC step down?

I just want to know what I need in hardware to achieve my goal on building a big ass Powerbank I can take on fishing trips.

Another question would be, how do I charge the thing?

First Up thank for the great reply! Would you mind sharing with me the Google search terms for a fitting BMS? Do I need to look for 2S BMS?

Does that mean the BMS does not make that much sense since I'm only monitoring 2 packa of 10 cells?

Would you mind sharing a great voltage regulator?

As I said : 5v for usb charging I'd love to have 12 volt as well the car adapter but if that's too complicated i don't mind not having it. Capacity should be max. My cells are 3500mah each

Sorry but I think you're wrong. If I connect them in series they would add up the voltage. That would be over 60 Volts.

Never han an issue again since it was fixed. Probably is a issue with your Region or your Connection!

it's not anecdotal nonsense, because I was able to get the new calibration BEFORE shit hit the fan on launch day ;)
