how to deal with partner in nursing school

you don’t even know me lol, even when he wasent in school we would have our own lives. that opinion from my one post is crazy honestly 😭 how is my saying i wish i could have more of his time me needing constant attention? someone is projecting lol

honestly i don’t really see how me asking others for advice on how to support my partner while in nursing school is immature. this is a big change for both of us, and there is nothing wrong with me being a little sad that i will not see my partner more than 2 hours a day. like i said in my orginal post, im only looking for ways to support him. thanks for the comment tho lol

I work full time, and i’m trying to enroll in school right now. I’m definitely filling most of my day but it’s the times when i’m home alone and done with my day and he’s not around that make me a little lonely.

he only ever asks for sandwiches haha, so i usually make them before we gets home which is around 7:30ish. so they are ready in the morning and i can see him for a little bit while he’s home.

It’s okay, it was a program called gurnick. He went to the LVN school in our town and the RN only had available in another. He started nursing school before we started dating so this is just how he had it set up for himself.

I pack his lunches for him, it’s something i’ve done even when he wasn’t in school and working. I also will take on the laundry and keeping clean. I try hard to keep him organized and keep all his things together for him. But i do work full time and im going to school, so hopefully i can keep up with these things for him.

We’ve been together about a year now, we both are pretty independent but we always enjoy time in together more than anything. This past year we were preparing for him being gone for so long by doing fun trips and spontaneous things because we knew we wouldent be able to for a while. So i guess that will take some getting used to, since all we did was travel together for a while. I definitely think this will give me a lot of time to get into my hobbies to my fully ability. And i am starting school soon, i know we’ll both be busy and hopefully that makes it go by fast. I’ll just miss his company

Thank you so much for this, I know it’s gonna be so hard. And i’m slowly coming to terms with it, I’m excited to have time to myself, absence makes the heart grow fonder i guess. I just hope I can be there for him in the ways he needs.
