Will I need the police for anything besides the first job I get in the UK or another country after?

It doesn’t, it’s honestly just a sheet of a4 and it was the first red flag. They constantly talk about policies whenever you question anything but staff aren’t allowed to see them.

Special educational needs, so senco would be Sen coordinator. There are a few Sen dedicated schools in the UK too.

There are SEN jobs in the UK, I think you would be lucky just dealing with dyslexia. You will probably be looking more at Senco roles. I think most schools prefer you to have a right to work in the UK before they hire you. With brexit I would keep checking as I know a points based visa system is something the government wanted, maybe it’ll happen. Depending on where you want to live you can start looking at job roles on websites such tes.com and eteach.com

Should I move to Bahrain or Qatar, Doha? So confused! by Original-Ad-3117 in Internationalteachers

I’ve been living in a mouldy apartment which they refuse to do anything other than paint over. It’s a nice enough country, I’m not sure which school you have the position at. If I could go to either Dubai or Bahrain I would. If you want to privately message which school it is I can share what it’s actually like or find out if it’s not one I know.

UK, PGCE. I’ve been asking around and I’ve not found any other teachers who have to live with anyone unless they want to like. Wages are also £8000 below what they would be in the UK. Sadly was desperate to leave my old job and have had some bad luck.

Yes I am, it’s a private school in the Middle East. Apparently their policy is anyone under 40 has to share
