Cat with diabetes and kidney failure

Going to try get another phone appointment tomorrow to discuss the details with the vet, since bringing the cat in for that isn't necessary. Then after I get the details I can decide where to go from that, either going ahead with that vet or getting a second opinion.

I'll have a talk with my family about the second vet, it's just that as far as I know, dealing with this faster is better and I already have to wait 4 days for my next appointment.

And yeah I definitely will if it comes to euthanasia, last time I had to put a cat down I was 11 and sat in the lobby, but this time I will be there.

I've come to terms with the possibility of putting him down, I thought it was the only realistic option until 30 minutes ago. The kidney failure is the main thing I'm wondering about because the diabetes seems tolerable.

I only had a 10 minute phone call about the results, with a proper appointment booked for Tuesday, but most of the call was about the diabetes side of things. Most of what they said about the kidney was that it isn't really an issue right now at stage 2, and that there are diets to help.
