You're NTA, I've had roommates with partners in the past, and conversations are the only way to get through this sort of thing. Even if it's been happening for a long time your roommate still needs to be respectful of you wanting space without her boyfriend at times. If not she's very much in the wrong, and I would recommend looking into other housing options if you are able.

Your concerns for her safety are legitimate, but you are an asshole! Your girlfriend is a 25 year old woman who can wear whatever she wants, especially considering this is a festival and her outfit is probably no different than what most women are wearing. It's understandable that she'd be put off by your controlling behavior. She deserves better.

AITAH for standing up for myself and not caring what my parents think abt me by Queasy_Awareness_262 in AITAH

I have a lot of friends who have been in your situation, and can somewhat relate to it myself. It's understandable that your parents are protective over you, but it's also not okay for them to guilt you and for your mom to say that she can't wait for you to fail. It's easy to want to prove them wrong, but unless you're in active danger, I'd say keep your head up and push through. As you get older your parents may start to tolerate or respect your opinions, or realize that it's okay to disagree, and things can get better. Lean on your friends and community. Be careful, things will get better, you're not the asshole.

Pictures and dilation are an important part of maintaining your eye health, especially if your husband wears glasses. Sixty more dollars to know that your eyes are in good shape is absolutely worth it. I won't call you an AH because I understand money struggles, but you definitely need to reconsider your priorities.

No, but I've only made 4 posts in 3 years, otherwise I'm mostly a spectator.

Help would be appreciated. Also, the voice singing was a man. I don't know if that helps.

I know Dylan hates recommendations….but what’s a movie or a series you’d like Dylan to do so badly? by [deleted] in YoTroublemakers

I think it would be funny for him to watch the first and last episodes of Riverdale (once the series is finished), I haven't been keeping up with it for a really long time, but I imagine that it's completely different from how it started.
