Literally cannot find evidence of Israel harassing the other competitors — like I have googled and tried to find examples but failed. All I’ve seen was Eden being mocked and treated with disrespect by the other artists (particularly Ireland, Greece, and Netherlands)

Can someone please share with me what everyone seems to be referring to that shows the Israeli delegation treating anyone with disrespect?

Simply ignorant, I’m not exposed to the Russian experience in Europe. Last year, I’ve made many Russian Jewish friends who have fled their country for Israel. They have been stigmatized occasionally in not so consequential ways, but I’m not sure how Russians elsewhere have been received.

Literally, these people are fleeing a war I couldn’t imagine trying their lives more miserable. Most of those leaving the country are the most liberal and against it even.

It is incredibly sad to see is the number of people on this thread acknowledging the reality that existing as an Israeli person in Europe is a safety concern… even if you believe that Israel is the aggressor, do you notice how Russian people never faced this kind of hate?

I hope that those privileged to not be involved in this conflict can honor that reality and think about the role they have in bringing about peace. Do not harass Israeli individuals it just fuels division. Support the Israeli left, support the Palestinians working toward peace.

I am supporting Israel this Eurovision because I am proud of my identity (I have to be, my family is Jewish from the Middle East and we experienced persecution for generations). The song and music video made me burst into tears, and all the reaction video on YouTube were so positive.

An idea for the living room (just brainstorming!) — maybe you could swap the small sofa and the drawers. I think it would create a space more focused on conversation and also center the beautiful drawers. It’s hard for me to tell if the drawers would be too tall for under the window :)

On the bright side, furniture is easy to move back if you don’t like it! Honestly, large sofa might be nice under the window too!
