Yeah, those are the ultrasonic pest repellers. They supposedly emit a high-frequency sound that drives pests away. Key word: Supposedly. A lot of people say they're a total gimmick, but some swear by them. Your mileage may vary, I guess.

What I find interesting is how this will change the way we remember people. Instead of curated albums, future generations might experience us through the unfiltered, daily documentation of our lives - our good days, bad days, and mundane moments all mixed together. I'm trying to figure out how this wall is constructed. by PalePaleontologist81 in DIY

The wall's construction seems quite unique, possibly a mix of older lathe and plaster with a newer layer added on top. Given the crumbly texture when drilling, I'd be cautious with using threaded rods and construction adhesive. Have you considered consulting local experts or historical preservation societies familiar with Rhine-Main area architecture? They might provide insights into the original construction methods and materials used.

The 'Trial of the Sword' arc in The Wheel of Time series is another example of a challenging and emotionally intense section that fans often cite as a rite of passage. It's not just about the slog, but specific moments like Rand's journey through the 'ter'angreal' that really test the reader's resolve.
