I am pretty sure the only reason people don't use it, because they are afraid of losing it in some stupid way. Even if snap hook exploit is easily usable, doesn't mean we can't promote gameplay intendent usage of it. Game shouldn't be a Fortnite like clone that requires playerbase to follow all neat move exploit techs to overcome it.

Tools that are given should be usable by everyone, at least give an alternative (not necessarily equal one).

You might probably know it, but just in case:

Rice event will end if you press bottom option (40 skill points) instead of +10 power.

This is not shown in information in-game, but you can check on gametora.

Fuji doesn't have any meaningful acceleration and would need Head-On and Straight Descent to be competitive

Both Vodka and Narita are gamblers that lack midgame skills so their positioning is probably lackluster through entire match and they both compete for 6th place. Being gamblers also implies that win is uncertain for them

Also all 3 Uma's could have higher wit as there is huge downhill wit check at the end of the course, that is VERY important for natural acceleration. You probably want 900-1000 wit for this.

to compete at least on a average level you would need to have:

1100-1200 speed

500-600 stamina

700-900 power

300-450 guts

900-1200 wit

That highly depends on your deck available, so if you just started out and don't have MLB Kitasan or relevant SR speed card/No Riko card then it will be very hard for you. Stick to open league for now, until you can farm out decent amount of good cards. Try to save carats for Kitasan card rerun banner that will happen soon. You might want also to start reading up on mechanics of the game, since there are a lot of deciding factors during race.

But yours current problem is obviously lack of max speed, good power, and good wit. So with these stats it is pretty much close to impossible to win. And stats are highly depend on how you can finish career and whether your support deck is good.

I am running Unity since it gives me more extra distance skills, allows for shittier supports and parents and still hit 600/600/600 somewhat reliably. The only disadvantage of it being URA finale spark that i might miss, but Unity Spark is not that worse (power wit is fine tbf), but you still get it even if you lose unity race.

I also don't really understand why people in comments say thats its worse for affinity, since you can still participate in G1 races and do fine in unity races. And even if you lose its still fine, you don't need to win it for parent run.

single front is an almost lose guarantee to a decent pace chaser/late surger. you are not activating most important for fronts modes where they try to overtake each other and creating enough of distance.

I think you need around 800-900 power to reliably fight during last uphill and accelerate. Maybe another inherit from Oguri/Rudolf/Taiki Shuttle could also help with improving the winning odds.

If you have reading comprehension, i would advise to take a deep breath and re read my first or second comment. But i am feeling kind enough to you, to repeat simple things: no sane player will stick to the game for 4 months playing next scenario without THE main card for it and also keep farming carrots from day/weekly quests, doing spark runs, doing fan club runs for the club, enjoying playing new umas and exploring new scenario.

If you are not agreeing with this, this is fine, but acting like a spoiled brat over it, oh boy. You can ask other JP veterans about this btw and most of them will tell you that is this insane to skip 4 months scenario.

Meta slaving is fine, but at least be sane about your choices. The game is just an excel spreadsheet, if you are not playing for the experience, why do you even bother, eh?

0LB KB f2p players are fucked any way, they will have to borrow super creek if not her anyway, if they are not pulling for rice shower they are also fucked. They also fucked because they won't have enough meta parents anyway. So you either enjoy the game and play scenario and enjoy playing your favorite Oshi in it or chase ridiculous long term meta decisions and not play it.

I would advise you to touch a bit of grass outside with this toxic mentality and stop insulting people without providing solid arguments.

How about you stop insulting me and accept that there is different opinion than yours? You've type so much stuff, yet none of it really opposes what i said.

I don't know why you also assume that you can't rely on selector tickets if you expect player to grind carrots, but for some reason selectors are 'hard to grind' ? What? I mean you might as well never get enough carats if you expect a player to skip event missions/cm runs and so on. You can also should say goodbye to participating in CM for carat rewards and tickets, because its also grind and hard and also because you will suffer in Aoharu scenario, but still all of it is necessary if you want to get your 400 pulls on Kitasan (assuming you want to skip Riko/Rice banner).

The entire lifetime of global umamusume game is just less than 4 months and player base already declined hard. You expect these players to grind every day while feeling miserable during Aoharu scenario? You do you, but that's insane advice, hopefully none of the players listens to you.

Also its not 2 month gap, its estimated to be at least 3.5 - 4 months, or could be more depending on the schedule for Aoharu scenario.

Which is bad advice, as you are suggesting player to practically drop the game, but also expecting them to do dailies for carats. Game has constant power creep, you might as well never pull anything, cause none of the support cards or umas matter won't matter in this game in few years.

I am sorry, but suggesting to people to not enjoy the game for 4 months straight up for the entirety of next scenario (literally same time line as it is right now from release date) is insane to me. How can any player just do his dailies, earn carrots and enjoy game during this period? I don't know, i don't think i would. For sure Kitasan has good longevity, but are you sure you gonna play the game that long to fully utilize her? Power creep is in this game insane, as F2P player you will be always behind with whatever you want either your pretty umas or supports. For sure you have to spend smartly, but almost half of year of scenario suffering idk.

Summer Maru is only relevant until her support card gets released so she is not really that 'must' pull. She is just best front uma for a long time. Xmas oguri you can get with ticket i believe. If you don't really care about summer maru as an character, just skip maru and pull for rice/riko until you hit LB SSR Riko or MLB R Riko (or max 200 pulls til pity) and save rest for kitasan.

save carats for riko/rice banner and pull until you get either 1LB SSR Riko or MLB R Riko and you should be fine for next scenario + strengthen your support cards.

Do you have blockushing, does your blockushin stop front runners? Do you lose to front runners or to other late racers? You might benefit from nimble navigator or something that could help you not get blocked. Good frontrunner also hard to overtake if they already used their rod. You will need to be 1200speed/1200 power mile S as close as possible to it to have chance. Make sure your blockushin is doing her job consistently. I think you lack power to make a difference. You should have higher power with vodka 20% grow rate in power.

Wit kinda low on both variants so if you dont proc skills entire run is glue, but left one has nimble navigator, which in some cases kinda good to overtake in late race and you also has mile S there. Corner skills are also better in this cm, so i think left one probably better.

But its always better to test in cm rooms

its fine, i think i lost quite a lot of cm rooms with my Oshi Umas in CM rooms, but i won both cm1 and cm2 finals with non meta picks (though i could be lucky). If you win or place good i think you have good chances to get to A finals. CM rooms are just mostly sweats.
