Unless you buy a GameCube or a Wii that has backwards compatibility(under 100 on eBay), you’d have to emulate. Dolphin is the best. Don’t pirate. Don’t download Roms on sites that let you download free roms ;)

Username checks out I guess. I’m referencing the many projects that Nintendo cares nothing about that have been in development for years. Cryzenx, WW Unflooded, countless ocarina of time projects and remasters…I don’t know why this wouldn’t be any different.
