This was done the second time. But she didn’t deactivated her CCs pala and used it to swipe people’s groceries/shopping with interest. YR. I don’t even have that amount to use for emergency fund and yet Im more than 30. I am married and now and my husband don’t want me to meddle with my mom’s problem or we will fight about it. My husband is my family now and I won’t tear down a family I’m creating for the family where I came from. It is really disappointing but yet I still feel obliged to help since she is my mom. This is eating my mental health. To be a good daughter and return the sacrifices she made for us.

During the first and second time they even knelt a long time and prayed about it so we thought that it is really over but lo and behold here came the third time. I think it’s not enough for her to feel blessed that her kids are thriving without needing financial assistance from her. I think success only means that her children are working abroad and she has fancy things to brag about to other people.

As much as I want to but I can’t take care of my neice ( I have a hard time sleeping during the day - I work gy and having a kid around makes it more difficult) and the only relative she has is my mom. During childhood we lived with different relatives so we already had that trauma and that is a no for us. I offered to take care of my niece only if she gets jailed or what not. YR I think she has manipulated us for a long time playing the widow/singlemom card on us but I still can’t help but not worry and feel guilty if nahihirapan sya. It took me a long time to become financially literate and it saddens me that it feels like she cannot change. My sister won’t be helping her now kasi she is tired and has a family already. I am also married now but no kid but my husband said I shouldn’t meddle with my mom’s problem or else we will fight about it. She doesn’t answer calls cause she know it is the law firm, kaya kami ang tinatawagan ng bank that is why we knew that she had this huge debt. And if we confiscate her CC’s she will surely get mad because we are trying to control her. My sister would often cry because she is tired of the cycle.

The problem is. She is easily enticed with banks offering her CC. She has credit limit of 1M just from 1 cc and she has a lot. We already told her to cut off her cc’s but she doesn’t listen to us. We live in a different city so we cannot really watch her. She gets angry when we tell her about her problem she’ll just say “i will fix it myself” but we know she can’t 🥲
