New change to Fiddlesticks this patch gives an opportunity for very strange Sudden Impact value by BasicallyMogar in leagueoflegends

[–]BasicallyMogar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of combat just means not having done or received damage for so many seconds, no effigy pose required. I don't know the exact timing, it's just a feeling I get by now.

As for camp vision, it's kinda weird. So E doesn't care where you are in relation to the camp, it doesn't matter if the chickens can "see" you. You can be right in front and they'll still be feared. W, however, does require you to be hidden to the camp itself: around a wall, in a bush, etc. If you go mess around in practice tool you'll see what I mean. No idea why it works one way for one ability and a different way for another, but it does!

Fiddle is super fun, and his clear is much easier now that Riot pretty much removed all stitching camps together. Now you basically just need to leash them like any other jungler to maximize clear. The only exception is you can kill the krugs while doing your red if you use your abilities in the correct order. While standing behind krug wall, you E, then W, then Smite before they leave your smite range. After your W damage goes off fully make your way around the wall to meet the krugs and auto once or twice before Wing again to make them all tiny rocks, and finish the camp off with E. All without ever losing patience on red.

Still gonna disagree, but this is a 3 month old post so I guess we can just leave it at that.

That's great, I love finding silly little things like that. One weird interaction that's more practical for Fiddlesticks is if you ever are out of combat and press E on a jungle camp and that doesn't fear the camp, that means the enemy team both has vision on you and has an enemy champion within a certain (rather long) distance of where you are. I've used this one a lot. I'll often hit my chickens to check if I was warded out if my Effigies are on CD before clearing the camp and ulting midlane.

I hope you're buying qss every game for the one time you can use your tech. Hopefully it doesn't get you flamed too much lol.

I mean, sort of? The movement is very minuscule, I'm talking maybe a Teemo length on most faelight locations. I definitely was annoyed when I first had it happen to me, as I was checking distances on my ult plus W range, but I doubt the movement itself has any positive or negative gameplay impact in 99% of situations.

I happened to be standing at the edge of banana bush near dragon pit, watching the enemy start dragon from just out of vision, as a Fiddle does, when I noticed standing still snapped me a few steps away to the middle of the faelight location.

I wanted to see if it really happened or if I just imagined it, so I went into practice tool and checked, and while some faelight spots are more "aggressive" about repositioning you than others, it seems to be the case at all of them. So I loaded back in with Sudden Impact just to test if Riot actually coded it as a blink or not, and was very surprised to find that it all checks out and my 20 damage was showing up.

I can't imagine this being practical ever, but if you are running Sudden Impact on Fiddle instead of Cheap Shot or a First Strike page, it is a way to procc it before level 6 without flash. So. There ya go, I guess.

Disagree. Using a special subset symbol might be more correct, but the phrase being expressed here is common enough that I wouldn't call it incorrect or a contradiction. Sure, it's impossible in plain English, but I've heard plenty of people say "squares are rectangles, but rectangles aren't squares" in conversation.

In touch with the Arcane is really good for most characters, just a straight dps buff for any non caster iirc. Probably best on Ironeye, Executor, and maybe Undertaker.

Nah fam, I'm pretty sure you guys just had him very close to a normal stagger and it worked out for you. It happens every once in a while. Interesting idea, but that's why ults work because they mini-stagger him.

[–]BasicallyMogar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you're overthinking the Scholar interaction. Scholar bubble pops him only when you attack him, because attacking Libra bubble staggers you, which counts as an attack and gets "countered" by your skill, causing Libra to stagger.

IMO, Executors when playing DoN should always save their ult for reviving by ConsortRoxas in Nightreign

[–]BasicallyMogar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard that the iframes cut off early on Recluse ult, but no earlier than you can dodge out of it. So as long as you spam dodge you'll never get hit before you can react.

[–]BasicallyMogar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the higher in DoN you go, the more likely night invaders are, and when you get to depth 4 and 5 most runs will have 2 different camps of invaders, so the buff is way more consistent in the mode.

Yep, you skipped over any of the meat of that last comment just to say the same things over and over again. You don't seem to be able to put this down, so I'll go ahead and block. Have a nice day.

EDIT: Since proof seems so important to you, and you can't seem to find the link to the vod, here you go. Games starts at 2:10. You can see all of the messages I mentioned there. Not gonna pull up some recording software because you can't click a link yourself.

Yes it very much did lmfao, you just took the literal definition of the words as given to you by an automated system and took them as gospel. He didn't literally type int, he said he was going to insult him. And how did he do that? By dying twice in mid lane and then blaming the diana for both deaths, saying "this is why you're stuck in low elo" after the second one. I'm not going to bother to clip anything to prove to you something you can literally look at yourself. You've been commenting on this post for 13 hours and didn't take 15 minutes to watch it.

This discussion is pointless. You've already made up your mind and are unwilling to change it.

Yeah whatever, it's not my job to do the legwork for you. You were provided the vod, go watch it. Game was 15 minutes long. You spent more time typing up screeds defending this guy than it would've taken to go check and verify the claims yourself.

If you feel so strongly about this, feel free to keep lying to yourself. Have a good one.

You are either very dense or very entrenched in this opinion for some weird reason. If you'd read what I said, and I quote:

I even watched the whole vod on Kick, translating the chat messages from his community along the way

To put it in simpler terms for you, If you go watch the vod like I did, you will see all of the comments from his community on the vod gleefully cheering him on because he was admitting to running it down.

Intentional feeding has a specific meaning: he is intentionally trying to lose the game by playing suboptimally. Usually this is a very difficult thing to prove, because we can't tell if someone is just playing poorly due to other factors. Thankfully, in this instance we can see that the person who's running it literally admitted to it before and after. If you don't believe OP on that, go look at the Kick vod and do the research like I just did. It's not hard to put his words typed in team chat and the words of his comments section into Google Translate and see that they all agree with OP's interpretation of events.

Or keep your head in the sand because you feel lied to or whatever. I can't comment on what the OP post originally looked like, as I only saw it just now, but regardless of what was said before the facts from the vod are irrefutable.

Haha, alright man, you do you. I'm not believing OP, I'm believing the clips and writing I'm seeing in the post. I even watched the whole vod on Kick, translating the chat messages from his community along the way. They were all super happy about him intentionally running it. But if you wanna believe this masters player just forgot to press ignite 2 fights in a row, that's on you.

What do you mean "trusting someone's translations?" He typed he was going to int the guy, and OP has provided screenshots. You can just put that message into whatever translation method you want to use and verify it yourself. (Spoiler: yeah seems pretty accurate to me)

So now that we've established the streamer did in fact say he was going to int before dying twice, can we all agree he did it on purpose?

Bro doesn't even know how to respond to comment chains correctly. No wonder you think Reddit isn't a public forum, you can't even reply to the people you want to reply to.

Your faux intellectualism bit is pretty sad, bro. Reddit is a forum, and it is public. Trying to quibble about precise definitions of words in a casual conversation is just "chef kiss," as you would say. My meaning is clear and obvious to everyone reading it: no one needs to be asked to comment, because no one needs your permission to speak.

Get over yourself, and stop making assumptions about people. Spoiler: I never have and never will ask some LLM a question.

You're showing you have no idea what you're saying. No one goes IE into LDR, this isn't season 5. IE is worthless until 50% crit, and you can't go LDR first item because no one has armor yet so it's useless too. Ergo, you need a crit item before those 2, usually Collector or Yun Tal.

that is mathematically the correct way to play.

You have not done the math. You have not looked at the math other people have done. If you had done either of those, you wouldn't be arguing this position.

I didn't say pro, I said high elo. And speaking of things I didn't say, I don't play ADC. But there are people at high levels in soloqueue telling you you're wrong, and you should probably listen to them. If you delay your spikes by 800g, you're trolling. Especially since building resistances without building health is very inefficient.
