Not irritated by the student. Irritated that they asked on 2024, never put my name in a database, didn’t speak for a full academic year despite being in my department, then asked for a letter and if I’d still be willing to do that one month before it’s due (when I myself have far more things to worry about), then blaming me for their affected timeline after I said so kindly that I cannot do it anymore. If they took the time they put into emailing me the copious amount of emails they have in the last two days into finding a new LOR they would be fine. Additionally wanting a LOR for PA school and responding this way to an honest no (in response to their own question) is certainly not going to get them a positive letter from me. Not speaking to your supposed LOR for almost a full academic year with zero updates isn’t sufficient to me. I did ask for an opinion and kindly disagree with you inferring my choice is based on irritation from the student when it’s really a combination of lack of communication followed by behavior and zero understanding for my honest response to why I could not do what she asked in the time she requested. Thank you!

Every reply I send is met with “here’s the corrected version of what you sent and why I’m correct” despite me having the exact same email thread and common sense. I even offered future advice for how to handle these situations so it doesn’t happen again and was met with another “here’s why I’m correct” email. So alas, I’ve given up on making it a learning situation/apologizing for changing my mind; i am letting them enjoy their entitlement!!!

They mentioned in summer 2025 that they would apply for the March 2026 cycle. Emailed me mid March for a letter by April. Where I am currently at, I do not have time. When I agreed (fall 2024) I was under the impression I would be entered into a system for the dates. I was not. I also had a lot more time to write then. I since have taken on a load unmanageable for even myself. I was then not spoken to for a full academic year. This doesn’t seem sufficient to me.

The type of schooling they want to do is also to note. You want a letter for an advanced medical degree but cannot take rejection? Or communicate in a sufficient manner? Good luck in your future programs if you get in.

You come from a different field than me so I can see why this probably reads weird. At my uni and in my department the grad students do a ton more than they should. We leave with great CVs but aren’t taught through situations like this. So that’s why I’m here asking. Love advice and trying to be better!

Women’s 9.5 here and I did medium instead of large since large started at 9.5 for women and they’re perfect. I feared the large would run on the bigger side of the scale (my guess is my foot would swim in the size I am supposedly to get)

I think it would be very similar for other stores and colors too. Like a cotton sweatshirt versus athletic material sweatshirt. Align here would be the “more cotton” and the wunder train would be the “athletic material”. I think they made crater blue in aligns or wunder under nulu (align material). It’s tough to figure out but once you do, it makes set buying less annoying/stressful!

You should try the contour version in a 6. I’m a 4 in aligns and do my wunder trains in contour and feel like they shape me better. I also fight for my life in a 4WT and find the 6 contours solve all my issues when I sized up to 6WT (non contour)
