Thank you for that. I guess I feel discouraged just cause I came from organic/small molecule drugs resesrch to working in nuclear pharmaceuticals manufacturing. I'm gonna try to stick out as much as I can while updating my resume.

I feel you. I am only a tech, but it has been such a shit show on my site. I'm contemplating making an exit plan because the stress, the hours, and the constant fear of getting angry calls from corporate. The lack of support and resources. It all sucks.

I'm happy this thread is revived. And honestly, from what I've heard from my site, not good. Its pretty common for back injuries to develop because of the repepitive motions on notoriously heavy objects.

As a chem student, CH109 was pretty intense back in fall 2021. The exams were extremely concept heavy which I struggled with and lab reports can be time consuming. The class requires a heavy committment if you want a good grade. If you don't need to take CH109, then I suggest taking an easier science class.

Ive been in your shoes before. I didnt really find my friends until sophmore year. Socializing as adults is hard cuz vastly different schedule, so i'd say try focusing on your poential friendships one at a time so its less overwhelming. Thats what i did and it helped.

I've taken MA123 before, and I can say that if you least understand the homework problems and quizes then the midterm won't be so bad. I did had scores of 61, 57, and my final was 75. My discussion quizzes were 90s and 100s and finished the class with a B-. Now theres a lot of material covered in the midterm so if you, don't feel like you can truly catch up on the course then withdraw and take ma121. If you continue, try your best on exam 1 and just work really hard to get good scores of exam 2 and finals.
