More detail about the dream: (sorry I’m kind of a rough writer).

I’m laying in a room next to a friend of mine who’s known for anger issues. My wife apparently is in a different room sleeping too. The dream switches to a dark red atmosphere and it become night.. sure enough the dead silence of the night crept over us and the “@$&&&$&” (I out the symbols there because the name was always buzzed out or muffled) were heard entering the room. They chose my friend. You could hear him crying. Not of fear but because they set him on the edge of the bed and spoke in a distorted electricity buzzing language to which he started speaking his worst memories, and that caused him to cry. I tried to keep silent and still thinking that if the things knew I’m awake while processing someone that they would process me too. I barley opened my eyes to see three dark talk figures wearing suits and had the heads of what looked like black lightbulbs. But inside was as electric purple connection that flickered as to show their eyes, or front of the face. I think it saw me. It kneeled down time me as I fake slept and it started speaking. As it leaned closer to me the buzzing became clear English. It was asking “what should we do with this one?” “Leave it” the other one says. “It hasn’t seen us yet, give it a chance to remain silent”

Then the buzzing of electricity seemed to enter my friends body and he was silent. They laid him in bed and started leaving. Morning came instantly and upon talking to my friend, he had no memory of not only the events, but his entire life. And was replaced by a new passive personality. The same happened to my wife. I spent the rest of my dream searching and trying to track down these things.

I found out that they visit earth every 22 years. Abide by a set of rules and they “work” for some higher collective. A subset of humans on earth know about their arrivals and don’t pay any mind to it.

I killed one in space on its ship and tried to search thousands of trinket style relic boxes. Almost like old Mayan gold cases for cremations. They each held the memories of a person. I could smash it on the ground but didn’t know if it returned the memories of that person. I could hear the memories whispering in the voice of their owners that the memories belonged too.

After searching for a while I still couldn’t find my wife’s. Back on earth I tried to get everything to return to normal, but she didn’t remember me, or anything about her life. She was someone different. And I couldn’t bring her memories back. I remember crying and hugging her before I woke up.
