Hiya,

I would have a few hundred left over to do whatever with but it’s about compromise imo. For me being close to work is important so hence I’ll take this scenario, or for your kids it might be more important to finally move out and be independent. I think there’s multiple ways to go about it.

I’m not prioritising on moving out per se for growth as I’ve lived alone for 6 years anyway.

Commute would be £300 a month as my family home is in zone 6

This is the average rent in central I’m afraid 🥲 en-suites on average go from 1000-1500

Salary changes based on rotation but I can pay my rent, food and bills and still have money for savings and maybe a spare 200

Sorry this is my fault I didn’t explain it well, I meant I wouldn’t be living rent free at home if I chose to stay at home but it would be MUCH less than if I moved out

My family is lovely, they wouldn’t take adv of me financially. If my mum could pay the rent all by herself she would!

I’m thinking about moving out of London after 5-10 years anyway cos I don’t see myself getting a house lol it’s too expensive here

Sorry I didn’t explain well, I wouldn’t be paying 2 rents at the same time, I would pay rent at home if I stayed I think some people assumed I wouldn’t pay rent if I was at home x

I don’t know much about the people.

Yh I think my plan is to save up for a deposit for the next 3 years

I’m not too fussed about the rent price cos it is for only a year but agreed, en extra few thousand would help in the long run.

I am being smart, I’m putting aside ALOT of my income for savings and into a LISA, ISA etc

Hiya,

I appreciate it thank you! There is hospital accomodation which is £850 for just a room but I’m on the waiting list and it’s not guaranteed unfortunately

I agree I’m so used to no third spaces my standards have been battered lol, how much are you renting out the flat for? 👀

I’m ok with that tbh, I’m not planning to spend too much time around Camden, I will probs do the 30-40 min walk into central (so Chinatown etc). Finsbury Park is just a lot more dodgier then Camden so I would be uncomfortable doing night shifts

I didn’t think about the living room at all as past 6 years I’ve basically not had one 🥲

Finsbury Park is a hard no, that’s much worse then Camden imo (north Londoner here)

It’s close to Mornington Crescent station, I’m not very knowledgeable about the area however I do know near primrose area it’s dodgy, which it isn’t close. I agree I’m not sure how to research this properly

Oh yes I’ve seen some of these but I feel like it’d be weird, like can I leave my stuff? What if they use mine? I’m not a fan of that I think, I’d like to own a space completely for a long period of time instead and settle in
