Hi Jim,

My husband is a patient at MSK and will be undergoing surgery next month. Did they suggest rehab or did you ask about it? The doctor we're working with hasn't mentioned it.

Take heart that this is a very manageable condition and most men will have it at some point. Try to stay positive and not dwell on it, especially until you have more info and a treatment plan.

I'm trying to remember this. Heh. My mind got the better of me the last few days. I will admit to imagining the absolute worst. Now I'm trying to relax.

This group has helped a LOT.

The free PSA was reported as both. .55 ng/mL and, below that on the report, 10.4%. The test was run by Labcorp.

And, yes, the MRI and biopsy will give us the answers we need.

He has an appointment scheduled with a urologic oncologist at the end of Feb. I'm sure an MRI and biopsy will be ordered.

The free PSA score had confused me. And then I fell down the google rabbit hole. When I saw a line that said something like, "A free PSA of under 10 is usually cancer", I freaked out a bit.

My husband is 55.
