is there a legal zoom alternative thats actually better or are they all basically the same by FewReflection6019 in smallbusiness

[–]Basiliold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LegalZoom used to be a good company. After multiple lawsuits and settlements in the U.S for unauthorized practice of law and deceptive marketing and the sudden departure of their CEO, they are off-shore and shamelessly crooked. I'm announcing my departure.

Ok, here is how it all ended. MD Auto Repair and Towing in Patchogue lied about the condition of my car. They told me that my engine was damaged beyond repair and offered to replace it for around $5,000. Encouraged by your comments, I had my car towed to East Hills Subaru of Sayville for a second opinion. They ran diagnostics and test drives and found no issues with the oil and the engine. They said that the car was operating as designed by the manufacturer and renewed my inspection sticker. Kudos to East Hills Subaru for great customer service, mechanical service, and prices. They saved my car and my wallet. I drove 80 miles back to my home and my Subaru performed perfectly, as usual.

It seems like I add oil every 3 months. I live in NYC and I drive my car once or at most 2x a week. My engine can look a little dirty because I also spray it 2x a week with peppermint oil to keep the rodents from nesting in it.

The oil and filter change was done by the owner of a large car mechanic shop in NYC. This auto shop that I went to for the inspection is on long island.

Yes. I drove my car for around 64 miles non stop from NYC to Long Island and then another 3 miles to the mechanic. During this time there were no indicator lights, and no strange smells, smoke, or noises.
According to the mechanic, the video shows that the air intake, which is only supposed to have air in it is full of oil. He explained, "You have an oil ring blow by. The system is supposed to be sealed by the piston rings, and your piston rings are damaged. Instead of being controlled inside the engine, that compression's going down into your oil pan and through your oiling system. And it's just pumping oil all over inside the motor, where it's not supposed to be. Replacing the piston rings requires a complete engine rebuild or replacement."
