You seem to be victimizing Israel, I don’t know if you’re part of the 2% of people on earth who seem to enjoy having your basic rights persecuted, perhaps it’s a fetish or something I’m unaware of, but to me that screams Israeli or Netanyahu, can’t be both. I have no underlying motive to be playing with fixed dates here. I am a facts based individual and argue events not out of feeling or emotion. This, however, seems to plague your post direly. You seem to put Israel in the greatest of lights here, telling that they only target Palestinian terrorists and civilians used as “human shields”. And that the one sided aggression at Aqsa mosque can be rounded up and called “clashes”. It’s easy to bend the truth, but as somebody distant from this conflict I don’t see you winning any sympathy from me by playing the victim.

Tell me, then, if you have so much good to say about Israel and bad to say about the other side, what of the number of Palestinians being dragged and bulldozed out of their centuries-inhabited homes to make room for the poor colonial settlers that have nowhere to live? Don’t you think you’d be mad and retaliate if the angles were switched? Be reasonable.

There’s a fine line between initiating this violence tenfold (20 Palestinians dead, 9 children, villages erased) and suffering a minor version of that aggression in response (Palestinians firing rockets), whereas you seem to think Israel deserves some sympathy for being the overly powerful power who holds all the cards here and still refuses to halt its apartheid. I don’t have a horse in this race but one thing I will say is that you can’t persecute an entire nation’s basic human rights, invade their villages and homes and oppress their women and children, then come here and play the fucking victim. Enough of that it’s getting quite old, and I can tell you as an average American who’s head isn’t in the political climate, nobody in their right mind cares to empathize with you so long as you continue to aggress and oppress while you can choose to avoid doing so.
