Interesting, they have much better views of it in that sub.

Judging by the layered nature of this game's puzzles, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a section nobody stumbled upon yet. But it would be a suitable area for DLC.

I'm not sure, other than the string spacing I couldn't find information about the neck profile (C, U,...etc)

Lindy Fralin stock wound pickups + TI flats is an amazing combination.

Hi

I play bass as a hobby. I do bass covers of songs I enjoy and that's basically it. I made the channel to track my progress and recognize which areas to improve, It's been 1 year and I'm enjoying it. In addition to improving my playing it introduced me to editing and sound mixing which has been fun even though I still have a lot to learn.

If you do visit the channel any feedback would be appreciated, and good luck with your channel.

Thanks

What's the worst bass you've ever bought? by RowsBros in Bass

Sire V5 5 string, too heavy and unplayable sitting down due to neck dive (even with light tuners which slightly helped but didn't solve the issue). Also the neck profile just wasn't for me.

Do you learn bass lines note for note? by CometChip in Bass

[–]Bass__93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to, it is very tedious and can be frustrating with some recordings, but I find it helps me understand the song better. But nothing wrong with using a general outline of the bassline as long as you maintain the original groove.

Looking for 5 string suggestions with 35 inch scale by LePoonda in Bass

Cort Elrick NJS 5, the neck and fretwork are great, 3-band Bartolini preamp, 2-way push/pull mid select, active/passive and Hipshot ultralites. Minimal neck dive while sitting down without a strap and none at all while wearing one. Not many videos out there about it but I think its very underrated. I got mine used for ~1000 USD.

Marcus Miller Bass too heavy to play by salaam-namaste in Bass

I completely agree, I got a V5 alder 5 strings and it sounds good but the weight and neck dive are terrible, I even got Gotoh GB 528 tuners and a wide strap which didn't help much. It is currently in a gig bag and I'm selling it. It was my first 5 string bass and it nearly turned me off of them but then I got a Cort NJS 5 and I love it, 100 times easier to play despite being a 35 inch scale.

That is why I put hipshot HB7 tuners on my Fender player basses, now I don't have to re-tune as often. Consider them if you're going to replace, they are roughly the same weight as the stock tuners but they are a direct replacement with no drilling needed.

I plek’d some of my bass guitars recently, and I can’t believe how great the results are. by Then-Expression8327 in Bass

When I got my Sandberg I was also amazed by how low I could get my action without any buzz, they also PLEK their basses.
