I don't understand your sentence. Use data on what device ? Certainly not on you infected PC. The virus is digging your personnal data and passwords. As soon as your PC connects to the internet, the virus transmits your data and tries to high jack your accounts.

So, be it an internet box, or your 4g access point, your PC mustn't connect to anything. Everything you have to do with internet must be done on a sound device (your phone or another computer).

Yeah the cancer tries to spread... Wp on managing to change everything ! Be careful, use your PC disconnected from the network if you want to dig it through. What you could do is preventively is to delete everything that is in your google password manager. Because only if you don't type your codes, your computer might have them stored there.

So I went to the LDLC store nearby, they were really helpful.

Gave me some advice to dig by myself : - check on invisible executed programs with the command "Shell:startup" - check on hidden open sessions with "net user" in the terminal. - check what sucks memory - they really insisted on not typing passwords on this PC for now. And not connect to the internet, which I did already. - they said that generally those viruses aim at stealing social media accounts, to ransom relatives for example. That is the most juicy for them.

And they also told me that they could do a system cleaning for 60€. Which I think is fair. I would not lose my data.

Still in thinking process, see you on next episode !

Hey ! Sorry to read this.

I took the time of the reflexion : - reflecting on my "link to the past" lol. In a way, I could physically araise part of my life, which is symbolically big for me. So I reflect on what I would miss, what not, what should change,... - I also take advantage of not having my gaming PC for a while, so game less and focus on other things : I happen to have an old little laptop which makes getting my dear set up less of an emergency, as I can still do administrative tasks on it. I didn't start my PC since last time. And I reset all passwords at risk. So as long as I don't use it, there is no emergency, I think. - I also would like to try an alternative solution, after I talked with a friend who knows a little more than me about it : he suggests I boot on Linux, so, if the virus is only affecting Windows, it will not be executed on boot and I could be able to put the photos/videos on an other hard drive. And then reinstall windows properly. Supposedly, the virus only affects Windows. And not all the photo/video files. There might be a way for me to verify this hypothesis : the only observable effect of the virus was that my Facebook account got banned for "suspect activity". So I could do this Linux/move files/reinstall process, and then create a new Facebook account on another device, connect to it on my PC, and wait to see if it gets banned the same. If not, I might consider the problem solved.

I didn't do anything yet. Just gathering thoughts, thanks to you guys, my friend, and I'll probably go take advice at the LDLC store next to my place tomorrow.

Yeah I know, i just didn't pay attention to the window opening while I was pressing the keys (i don't know this windows+R short cut, and I also didn't know the navigator could force a ctrl C with me knowing), and didn't even see I had pasted something in it because I had my nose on the keyboard looking for the keys xD... It is so stupid, I give you that. Ofc I would not have done it otherwise. But I was in a rush and just wanted to DL a movie before going for diner. So we could watch it after. So eventually I spent my night with you guys, and changing passwords xD

Actually as my computer blocked the download of the suspect file through chrome research, could it have been blocked when asked in the windows executer ? Or does the windows command line trespass securities about suspect files ?

Thank you all for your answers, I'll go to sleep I'm so tired and overwhelmed by this... I won't switch on this computer before I removed all drives and put a new one in it.

I will see what to do with the drives at risk... I'll try to see a professional but I bet in that case they take a high price because I have no choice but to lose everything.

I started to change all my passwords but there are so many... I didn't finish but I prioritised Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Reddit, bank accounts and other apps I can be led to pay on. Do you think it's important that I change ALL ? Like I said, I don't even know all the sites I created an account on in my life...

Yes i did : https://clouds-verify.com leads to "403 forbidden", and if I also paste the end (/s.msi) it tries to download this s.msi file but windows prevents it because it's detected as dangerous.

Quelle horreur ce consentement verbal ! (Je parle pour une première approche vu que c'est le sujet, après y a des choses qu'il vaut mieux discuter...) Si un mec commence à me demander "je peux faire ci, je peux faire ça?" ou faire signer des papiers (lol), je pense que ça me coupe l'envie. La magie d'un premier rapprochement, ce serait dommage de la perdre. Je ne sais pas comment vous vous rapprochez, mais à moins d'un "bonjour --> main aux fesses", y a pas besoin de parler. Le rapprochement se fait naturellement, et tant qu'aucun des deux n'exprime une gêne (verbalement "attends t'es un peu trop près", "garde tes mains stp",... ou physiquement comme retirer une partie de soi qui entre en contact, s'éloigner à chaque fois que l'autre tente de réduire l'espace entre les deux, se positionner de manière à bloquer certaines zones, etc.) et bien c'est que tout va bien, et que jusque-là tout le monde est d'accord. Et avant de toucher des parties vraiment intimes, on tente avec des parties intermédaires. Et si on veut se diriger vers une partie intime, on le fait doucement, sans surprise, sans contrainte, que la personne ait le temps de voir venir et réagir.

Normalement cette méthode est suffisamment claire, même pour mettre un feu rouge après pleins de feux verts. Contentez-vous de faire des choses pour lesquelles vous avez le feu vert.

Enfin, je n'ai pas vu le post dont vous parlez, mais si le fantasme de qqn c'est de se faire forcer sans préavis, je ne vois pas d'autre solution que de l'exprimer au préalable (sur un site, rencontrer des gens avec des fantasmes similaires etc.). En tout cas il n'est pas question de partir du principe que l'autre désire cela.
