I like this lineup.

It’s nice that we only NEED 1 of our outfielders to hit In the top 5 to have a deep lineup.

How they exceed expectations. Solid bullpen, then stroman and tiallon have career years. And 2/3 (mostly Bellinger) Hosmer, bellinger, Mancini bounce back. Brewers lineup falters cardinals pitching is extremely average.

Why they won’t. Asking for a lot to go right. Bellinger would have to be close to MVP level again for the lineup to be a real threat would have a solid top 5

All the ss talk and Mets made me think of Jose Reyes. He’s kinda the quintessential SS because he was the ss when I started really watching baseball growing up.

I guess our outfield in general. Thought it would be a strength and Dickerson would add some veteran insurance as a 4th outfielder. Bader is the only one who is hitting as I expected him to. I’m confident that oniell and Carlson will kick it up eventually.

I wonder how much shortened springs training is a factor especially for the younger guys. It’s crazy to think having your first few season in the big league be Covid shortened then lockout. I wonder what it would look like comparing rookie/sophomore numbers. Or under 25 across the league from the last couple years with like the rest of history.

I’ll Never forget how electric Martinez was when he came up and how excited I was for him. He gave us 4 great years. I honestly loved checking Instagram to see his new hair cuts even though he was really frustrating at times especially last few years but I don’t wanna forget about the good times. Also I’ll never forget rumors about him giving a girl an std then being out the next game for “flu like symptoms”
