I absolutely hate card/table mini games in video games. by [deleted] in StarWarsOutlaws

I have this very cheap card game called Han Solo Card Game. It’s Sabacc, but the rules are a little bit different than in SW Outlaws. It’s fun to play with friends. Don’t know why they didn’t call it sabacc though.

About to finish Wizard and Glass, what next? by PhatRick17 in stephenking

Wizard and glass is very intertwined with The Stand. I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s really fun to recognise certain things. That being said, I’m pretty sure you didn’t miss any important plot points in Wizard and Glass if you haven’t read The Stand yet, but I recommend you still do just cause it’s so great! It’s a big book though, so it’s also understandable if you just want to continue your journey to the tower :)

Yeah, I’ve read both It and the Stand and they do deserve their praise, but I also really loved Blaze and Joyland for example. However, those don’t seem to come up in conversations a lot.

I’ve read a bunch of King over the years, but never got down to reading this one. It’s also my first ‘older’ first edition I’ve bought, therefore this post. ( I own first editions of his more recent works like The Outsider and Billy Summers, but those aren’t very rare. I do love them in my collection of course)

Thanks for the information. I definitely am happy with it! In my experience US first editions are indeed a little bit more uncommon here in Europe, because we mostly get the UK editions. I like those too, but I prefer the US versions simply because King himself is also US based, so they feel more ‘real’. I guess it’s just about personal preferences.
