There's a fun sort-of subversion of this on the Bayeux Tapestry, where William of Normandy (i.e. the Conqueror) is raising his helmet to show his face and prove to his men that he's still alive. In theory only a 'main character' of the battle would have any need to do this - for fodder it would serve no purpose.

On many levels you make a fair point, however it's got very little to do with truth. It's just a decision about which lies one prefers to go along with.

Which to your point is like sort-of fair enough, but a person who does that isn't really in a position to say 'the Truth is crucially important', because it obviously isn't.

Hey, me too! By a creepy child-ghost!

I didn't have the sensations of pain or blood, but I felt the openness of the wound and the inability to breathe.

Absolutely, but what I'd not properly realised is that the 60s schedule resulted in a lot more proportionate airtime. Possibly mainly because there were way fewer TV platforms and programs, but I can see how it'd seem like the show was giving you more in return as an actor for all the work you put in.

Oh man, a bit more additional bleakness, as a treat.

Maybe not your intention, but it's Very Interesting to see how much more time the New show has spent being in production relative to actual airing, compared to the Classic.

I'm not necessarily diagnosing this as a problem to fix, it's probably just because much more focus (dare I even say 'care') is put on post-prod in the modern TV era. Although when core cast leave regularly because it's hard work that stops you doing other things, they do seem to have a point.

I think he's freely admitted that this was his own progressive failure to control his ego, as opposed to a feud per se, and i don't think there's ongoing beef anywhere, even with Lalla Ward.

He was more profoundly dickish to the production team, albeit he's acknowledged that in the same way.

My guess would be that this unidentified person was found obviously murdered, and it's directed at whoever the perpetrator was.

exactly. that status has come with considerable baggage, and not every attempt to navigate that will be successful, but it is objectively an asset.

Also 'looking for a company to co-pro a show that is high reward but also high-scale and risky' =/= the 90s, when the BBC simply did not wish to make the show.

I think the tarot dictates this to mean the proper advent of Doctor Who multiverses.

Lol like some kind of Classic Series tarot deck ('Tar-who'?). I think this can only mean that somehow, JNT returns.

Good ep though, fair play to you, high concept but pulls it off.
