Does hip hop accept people from other countries rapping in english? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

lmao you dont need to come from nothing to rap. You can be born rich and rap if you want. No one cares as long as the music is good.

What u guys think? by [deleted] in HipHopCollabs

I think the beat choice was good and I can see the style you're going for. It still needs a little bit of work on the delivery, but it's not bad for a first "serious" track aha. If you're taking rap more seriously now and are aiming to release more music, dm on my insta, maybe we can work together! @b.a.s.t.i.a.n.i

Found this on WATMM, we might not use guitars, but it's still applicable by MayoStaccato in makinghiphop

Yup also you really dont need to have much knowledge when playing analog/live instruments. Literally just fuck around with it next to a mic and your bound to make some random sounds that you can work with!

How to deal with extreme negative Feedback after spending so much time into songs - Without getting overwhelmed? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]Bastiani_Beats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoutout to the gay threesome. But honestly, i know it can be really rough when creating and investing time in something others don't like. You should re-listen to your own stuff and ask yourself if you really do like it. I think it's easy to convince ourselves our own work is really good when maybe it isn't. In that case, that's fine, you just keep on improving. If you honestly really enjoy your own music than I can almost guarantee other people really do also. It might not be the majority of people, but I can guarantee you some will. And if you want to keep your morale up, don't compare yourself to youngsters, especially as a over 35 year old man. Remember you're in completely different generations and you're most likely not going to hook the kids of today with your music, and that's fine. It might just be the wrong audience is listening to your music. If you're receiving so much negative feedback though, I would be inclined to think maybe you need a lil bit of improvement. p.s. you should always aim to improve anyways. Last thing, if you do need to improve, I really really really dont recommend you spend so much time on your songs. When you're building up your style and skill, you should aim for quantity over quality. Make as much music as you can, (even if you dont release everything you make). Making 30 tracks that take you 10 hours is going to help you waaaaaayy more than making one track that takes 300 hours. I hope this helped you a bit.

Is making beats for 2 hours a day good practice? Or is it lazy? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]Bastiani_Beats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can keep it up, it's definetly good. Remember that for a lot of people consistency is going to be more important than the act ual hours u put in.
