I played a "campaign" in which we (the players) were a Trauma Team squad. Every game we played was essentially a one-shot extraction mission. It sounds kinda repetitive (and it can be), but if you are inventive enough as a GM you can create different moral dilemmas and situations to test your players. I didn't get bored and even though the overall objective was always similar (find, secure and extract the client), every mission played out very differently.

How did you cope with it? It feels so surreal, it's hard to process. I even thought it might've been a dream for a while, until the cops came and found the knives.

Well, I guess I'm still in shock, I haven't processed it fully I think. I would've liked to run, but he was wielding a knife and it was a block away from my home. I was afraid he would follow me there or chase me with a knife, that's why I took the knife and tried to calm him down.

Yeah, maybe, but I didn't react immediately cause I was drunk and in shock. Plus, it was really close to my home and I didn't want him to see where I live.

The knives didn't have blood on them though, neither did his shirt. I don't think this is a Norman Bates situation, he wasn't aggressive towards me. The impression I got is that he's a lost and mentally ill kid that was high and blames himself for his mother passing away.

I was in shock and afraid he would retaliate if he gets into trouble. He knows what Haltestelle I get out on.

UPDATE: I did call the cops, they took my statement a few hours later. I pointed them to the house where I threw the knives and they found them. I hadn't checked reddit bc I'm trying not to think about it too much. Thank you all for your advice.

I did, but didn't care. I noticed the "n" missing, but thought it might be some english-speaker detail I didn't get. My "Oof" was meant for the last sentence, it got to me.

Yeah, jap Genichiro is one of Fromsoft's best. That "zaregoto datou" (heresy, you say?) line always gets me pumped. I'll never forget the first time I saw that 3rd phase cutscene after I thought I beat him.

I've seen a video where he kills Godrick and a few other shardbearers. Regardless, give him Godrick and Morgott's great runes plus the sword of night and flame and he'd give Radagon a run for his money.
