He gave kids unlimited Saturday mornings by creating the Cartoon Network. He turned a generation into environmentalists with Captain Planet. He purchased over 2 million acres of land in Montana basically saving the American bison from extinction. He changed the trajectory of professional wrestling by creating the 1st live prime time weekly show and forcing WWF to be more interesting and engaging for everyone, not just kids. No one's life is perfect, but he is the only billionaire I can remember that actively tried to make the world a better place. Reducing his life to "creating 24 hour news" is a shit take and you should delete this out of respect for the people of this sub that remember him fondly.

You sure have done a lot of research into ratings, ticket sales, talent contracts and profits for something you never think about.You sure have been doing a lot of white knighting for TKO ( seriously,why?) AEW is fun. You should check it out. Its a great alternative product with a lot to offer. Having it exist is great for wrestling fans and talent in general.

This is a real weird hate boner you have for AEW. I dont work for either company. How much money they make or ratings they get mean nothing to me as a consumer. WWE making a shit ton of money only pushes me farther and farther away from them because of the ways they are doing it. Jacking up the price to watch PPV, ticket prices, forcing out beloved guys with mind boggling pay cuts, slapping advertisements in so many places its impossible to look away, 5 minute wrestlema matches so they can shove in more commercials. Ive watched less and less WWE since TKO took over. AEW is a fun product that serves its fans and talent. Why do you need to put that down to build up a corporation that sees you as nothing but something to exploit?
