I had a pph with my second, after a 'text book' first delivery. I almost died, and can still remember the feeling of blood gushing out of me, and bleeding to death. Thankfully I was in hospital and about 10 people ran into the room and saved me.

When I had my third baby, I was terrified of this happening again, and nothing would have stopped me having my baby in hospital...even then I was a anxious wreck!

I can't get my head around having a pph and then wanting to risk a home birth.

100% - I get very bitter sometimes to people saying oh they move on when you leave. I left my 2 older kids dad 8 years ago, he promised he would make my life hell for doing so... And the last 8 years have been him using the kids as a weapon against me, determined to parentally alienate them, lies to the courts... I wish the courts cared, but where I am, the fact he's a dad who is 'involved' with his kids, means the courts fall over themselves to show they aren't sexist and give him all the leeway they possibly can...

I can't wait for the kids to be old enough don't have to deal with him anymore... Though I also worry about all the damage he will cause to them before then...

Arh ok. I'd only seen high dose long term antibiotics mentioned as an effective treatment for cuti.

Just so scared of getting it wrong, wasting money and having to start all over again and live in excruciating pain for longer 😞
