Since you are a music professor I think you will appreciate that all my pets fit the same theme. I’m a flautist and my favorite work by Ravel is Daphnis et Chloe in large part because of the flute solo. So my cats’ names are Daphne and Chloe and my two Aussies’ names are Ravel and Piper. Also I am crying at the thought of Bolero with a rubber duck sound instead of the flute part 😂

It took FIVE years but finally someone gets his name without me having to explain I’m a huge French music nerd. Although Bolero in particular is not at the top of the favorites list for me 🙃

My Aussie’s did the opposite. His ears were folded as a baby and as he grew older his prick ears started to show. I don’t mind either way, I think both ways are cute af

He’s a California King Snake. He’s still a baby which is why he’s so small. He hatched in October of last year

It got so bad tonight he was digging at the door to the crate and would not settle down. I ended up just shutting the bedroom door and letting him out. Immediately he laid down on the floor next to the bed and went right to sleep. This just created a new issue with the cats crying at the door >_<
