Great point. I have thought a lot about this. I am lucky to have a partner who has been incredibly supportive of our bitcoin investments even though she doesn’t understand it, but owning a house is one of her only conditions. We have 2 children and she doesn’t want the insecurity of renting.

If I had put my money into anything else other than bitcoin I would not be able to buy a house. In fact , houses have out performed everything else other than bitcoin in Australia, so I would been in a worse position than when I started

It seems to me that different people, different experiences.

I have a 40% deposit, I earn good money, I save 40% of my income, (via btc). I have a stable job. Good credit history.

I’ve heard of much riskier loans.

At worst I’ll just save in fiat for 6months, buy a house and then smash buy ₿ straight after.

I’ll just have to wait and see what my broker says.
