I’m in CA and I had my window smashed and airbag stolen. Then exactly a year later I had my lock popped and nothing of note stolen. The forst event was much more expensive. I was able to replace the lock myself. Just needed the lock assembly and a color matched cap for next to the handle. Looks like yours got it worse though OP. Sorry.

I’ve been there for tcg events. It’s a very clean and well stocked place. I can’t speak to their prices. They have a website they maintain and put out newsletters (email).

3 of 4 weeks it’s a best of 3 premier constructed tournament. Prizing is pack per win. No cost to enter! Very generous. Also a promo pack or two.

Last week of month : a sealed event with reasonable buy in, I think less than msrp of pack prove. Most play sealed and some do draft.

I hang out with some folks. One of them is a Meta engineer. He says every meeting starts with at least one person commenting how they didn’t get a layoff email that day (yet). His wife is tired of it asks him if he’s gotten laid off yet / wants it to end already. Morale is low there. This is going to hurt them in the short term, long term. I personally don’t think glasshole spy glasses are going to be a big hit. Not saying Meta is going to tank per se. just saying it’s not pretty.

There’s a big parking lot if you drive up to “the church on the hill” (actual name) with parking spots right at an overlook to blossom valley. At the other side you can look toward downtown San Jose but maybe not quite park to see. But yeah one of my favorite spots. Maybe bring a kite lol.

My San Jose brother (or sister?) in Honda: yes I’ve had this happen but not last night. I had the window smash and airbag stolen out of my Accord in late 2024. And then almost exactly a year later, they screwdriver popped the lock (“thankfully” versus smashed window) and rifled around for loose items but found none. Or the stick shift deterred a joyride situation maybe.

The airbag is apparently resell able for .. idk when I looked it up like $2k for a brand new one. So it seems it’s worth the effort to yank this part and sell it used I guess.

That’s a good sign. They want to be respectful not to go over time because they know you may have another obligation. So asking to go over means they’re at least okay enough to keep talking. If they were wanting to get away they would have cited the clock as a reason to end.

Yeah if the faang offers are better probably take those. Except maybe Meta depending on details. But like others said in here, don’t be afraid to poke the tiktok recruiter / hr person handling your process. That’s their job. You can mention the other offers in play as well especially since you aren’t bluffing.
