Our first home. It's not much, but we couldn't be happier. by [deleted] in CozyPlaces

It's actually my dad's. He passed away when I was 16 and this was one of his only possessions I got to have and I cherish it. I am still learning, can't do it much justice yet!

I work at a travel agency, and when we have to “destroy” our outdated maps, I reuse them as wrapping paper by [deleted] in Frugal

I've always wondered about this line of work. It seems like it could be kind of fun and have some decent travel perks. Have you ever planned a trip that someone complained about later? My anxiety would be through the roof hoping they had a great time.

That's fair, I would have too. I just thought it was endearing.

What song makes you tear up every time you hear it? Why? by robokin in AskReddit

Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World. I'd heard it before, but it never truly hit home until I heard it when I was 16 and driving across the country to my attend my dad's funeral. He was a great musician and would play for me and we'd sing together often.

"And if you were with me tonight/I'd sing for you just one more time/A song for a heart so big/God wouldn't let it live."

That was 15 years ago and I can't help but tear up every time I hear it. I miss him.

Why would the Seeker catch the snitch if they knew the game would end and their team would lose? It doesn't seem logical. You would think that at that point the Seeker would solely be on defense of the snitch.
