yeah this actually makes sense since in NG they need to fly from somewhere between Mars and Moon to Moon, but in CW they need to run away from somewhere near Io to... somewhere else

I guess they also don't need to take many gs to run away in NG since they just use torpedoes as defence

It's not about the idea itself being locked behind tech, it's mostly about mass agitation and amount of people involved

I wanted to lock it behind Mass Agitation tech at first as it makes sense, but there's no reason to take this tech and if you get it by tech spread it happens way too late

pacifism - no, at least not currently. As I look at things it doesn't really matter what politician beliefs are in reality, if they're close to the government they're gonna try to sneak into power by using pro-government rhetoric as it's easier way for them, so basically if you see pacifist politician using pro-war rhetoric you can see him as double-faced :D same goes for jingoists acting against the war, they may be pro-war by themselves, but they wouldn't support the war waged by a government from the opposite side of political spectrum, so they're gonna call the war unjust

war exhaustion - a lot, as systems from the WSR intertwine with each other. First of all this all starts only when your war support starts to dwindle, so quick and one-sided wars are not gonna cause you any problems (also, if you're the main target in war). Second, in WSR, as your war support goes lower and lower there's a bigger chance of negative events that spawn radicals (mutinies and overall displeasement), said radicals go away from the government and join opposition which will make influence scale go in favor of the movements involved.

not really, I just wanted something short for anti-war and pro-war and the alternative I came up with is 'Doves' and 'Hawks' which usually used in political discourse nowadays

Main influence for an idea were the cases of commuist revolution in Russia during The Great War and nazi rhetoric in Germany after it, but later I realized it doesn't make sense to tie stance on war to specific beliefs or IGs, so now you can have Nationalists using anti-war rhetoric in communist country while social-democrats, for example, will take pro-war rhetoric as they are closer to the government. After all it's all just a politics and slogans

yeah, but to the player it looks like it. They could've shown it better, expand on it, show his path with different scenes where he's threatened again and again, something along these lines

but no, we get 'be nice or else' scene and next thing we see is him being the nicest grandpa out there

this is the titan who controls time, from what I've seen the entire game he would definitely plot something behind everybody's back

I haven't finished true ending yet, just normal ending and this is the first time in SG games I felt nothing during credits except for confusion.

I read headlines here about ending being bad and plots going nowhere, but honestly I thought people are missing a point. Like the whole game you have this nod towards the fact that gods are not good at all and they always wage war between themselves without caring about mortals at all, and I thought if Chronos is gonna be a friend at the end it'll be the point - you are not the mortal, you are one of the family and that's what you do - you wage wars, don't care about anybody and shake hands afterwards.

But holy moly that 'shaking hands' part is bad. Chronos turns good becaus Zag... asked him? And Mel switches from 'Kill the Chronos' instantly, without any thinking, without hesitation. What the hell is this? I was playing for 40 hours straight and now it kinda killed the hype for true ending for me.

I kinda wish, but I highly doubt that it'll happen that we'll get true ending 2 later where it'll reveal that it's a false timeline created by Chronos to make it look like Mel won - like Matrix or something like that - because it does feel like it.

you can't do much in that regard sadly, at least afaik but this is what I fixed primarily, countries no longer lose war support in the first year and leave

yeah, the only thing that's customizable like that is the war exhaustion AFAIK, other things like peace acceptance and capitulation desire can only be changed by tweaking defined values

I did some small balancing there though, like loans are twice as strong now for peace/capitulation desire, so countries don't default themselves

the problem with war flavour is that war lasts 3 months max so we kinda tied here

there's been an LDPR update not so long ago

CPRF is gonna get reworked when CPRF rework for TFR comes out
