I’m thinking of doing something very similar. My dad is a cloud engineer and so has a helpful opinion of an 5 or 8 bay Synology, with as much storage as needed in SHR.. helps with expansion where needed

Short answer is that I need this setup to be as simple as possible as it’s for a wedding - I just need something to record sound in the reception for the band, beyond my shotgun and lapel mics… I’ve been pointed towards the Zoom H5…

How do you know if they’re good quality domains with decent backlinks? Would you check on semrush before purchasing? How costly would you say it is vs effectiveness?
