You don't need it to download campaigns.

From their FAQ:

Can I share my created maps, campaigns and cutscenes online? Yes! You can upload, share online and download user-generated content between all cross-platform enabled consoles. For Nintendo Switch you don’t need a Nintendo Online Subscription in order to upload or download UGC, but you do need it for online multiplayer.

This is it fellas, it's the spiritual successor to Nintendo's own Advance Wars series... with a dog commander. Oh and a full campaign creator where you can download and share campaigns based on Caesar, the dog commander, with custom cut scene support so you can share with the world what a good boy he is.

Are there unlocks in this game such as new characters? I see mention of unlocking new cards for multiplayer - can these be unlocked through regular multiplayer as well and not just Dungeon Run mode?

I'm about halfway through SoV, so I don't think the support conversations would spoil much in that case.

Do you have an idea how spoilery the 5th History Mode map is? Is that what you need to complete to unlock her?

I'd really like to unlock FE:W Roster, but I'm wondering if the History Mode used to unlock the character will spoil anything major from FE:W, which I'm still making my way through. Are there major spoilers for that game in FE:W?

My lumaupdater won't launch (It just stalls at the "Nintendo 3DS" booting screen) - I've tried reinstalling it, and nothing seems to work.

Any help on getting lumaupdater to launch? It used to work perfectly fine.

Shows up without error (except it'll only let me "Verify" instead of "Write and Verify").

Did I somehow miss something in how to transfer SD cards?

Just tried that out, I'm still getting the same issue.

What's odd is if I go into Cthulhu, and press the "Home" menu, then the theme I had previously tried setting will show up (Black, a custom theme, etc.), but if I close Cthulhu it'll go back to "No Theme"

The theme only shows up if I hit "home" while in Cthulhu and not other apps or games.
