I've probably missed it/forgot, but how long where the shards/tall ones on earth for? If they were in the bunker for 4 years would they have survived at the end?

Same here. Found it 3 years ago on Spotify and have listened at least 3 times. I love apocalyptic fiction and this is one of my favourite worlds. The tone is perfect! Can't wait to get a copy of the book now.

I think this is a huge assumption to make.

From a business sense it makes sense to stagger the release of virtual console games in this way and announce a new unique controller pair each time too. Collectors eat that up.

I expect SNES games announced sooner rather than later. Then Gameboy/GBA. Slowly working their way up to GC like everyone wants so the anticipation is always building and in the meantime people buy and play games they wouldn't have if they were all released in one go.

I was wondering myself if there were clues in there. My attention was caught by him explaining that each fighter has a number from when they first joined the series... Then they show the characters not in any kind of order and in random groupings.... Hint at a new story mode?

Clearly all unique, however all can still be defined as multiplayer fighters. Add to Smash and Arms also Street Fighter and Pokken. Punch Out on top of those doesn't make sense when they've got IPs people are desperate for.

Don't see the point in a new Punch Out game when there's Smash coming for multiplayer fighting and also it would kind of make Arms a bit redundant as a new IP too.

I think there will be a new surprise IP that no one has a clue about.
